Nice chise you got here LC, been following for a minute, figured I'd post during the offseason and catch next season from the start

Your QB picked a bad time to play like Tony Romo......ouch

The progression you got was pretty nice across the board....Slaton, damn

Guys I need some major help...

Dunta Robinson is my secondary stud, my 3rd best defensive player. But this ni99a wants a 6 year 63 million dollar contract. 85 overall with B potential, shall I do it, or hope the FA or draft gives me what I need?

What kind of depth do you have behind him? The cat wants some major cake lol

If you got some young stud waiting in the wings, I'd tender him an offer I was comfortable with....if he doesn't take it, I'd let him bounce.....you gotta figure there will be somebody in the FA pool or the draft who you can pick up to step in

                    For a lot cheaper

Hmmmm, not that great...he might have the leverage here lol....if you have the cap room, bring him back....or maybe see if he'll take a few less years and reduced money...if not, you might have to cave in

                            Resignings

DeMeco Ryans was one of the major players to resign with the Texans

                            Owen Daniels| 3 years/20.11M
                            Dunta Robinson| 2 years/23.23M

try to draft a CB with A potential so you don't have to keep paying Dunta's ridicolous contract. Nice resignings

                                Free Agency

The Texans needed a powerful kicker, and they got it.

                                Yamon Figurs (WR): 1 year/760K
                                Matt Prater (K): 3 years/2.28M
                                Tye Hill (CB): 5 years/12.30M
                                C.C. Brown (SS): 1 year/1.24M

The Texans went into free agency in a tight cap situation after signing Dunta Robinson but were still able to pull in very good players.

Matt Prater is going to be a HUGE upgrade on the special teams. Kris Brown was unable to hit kicks longer than 51 yards this season and Matt Prater has the range to hit near 63 yarders.

Tye Hill and Yamon Figurs were added to the team because of speed and upside. Both of these guys can fly and have good potential. Look for Tye Hill to compete for the 3rd string corner back spot.

C.C. Brown was added to bring veteran leadership to the secondary. He played for the Texans from 2005-2008. Next is the NFL Draft!
