Oh damn, first back-to-back wins against my Grizz.
Looks like Flynn is turning into quite the player for the T-Wolves, thats awesome.Comment

man, I wanted Sessions
1984 Record: 44-38 (9th in west)
1985 Record: 42-40 (7th in west; 1st round exit)
1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)
The Grizzlies theme this season should be : "This Season, We're Doing It For The Lulz"Comment

Flynn's mid range J was working that game. Just taking advantage of a sub par defender again in Iverson. Felt good getting them to fall.
Yeah, Gasol did a decent job of getting a hand in Al's face but he did great pulling down a number of offensive rebounds for second chance opportunities.
Originally posted by redsox907solid win, way to string em' together.
looks like Jefferson and Love dominated the glass for you as well
Rubio is overseas, etc etc. Flynn has all the opportunity in the world to win it if I can manage to continue this kind of play with him.
Originally posted by tayreezyCouple of nice wins there. I bet most of Melo's points came from that play where someone sets him a screen and he gets an open jumper at the elbow if your SG doesn't switch fast enough, dude did that atleast 10 times on me in my game against the Nuggets, lol.
I saw that. haha. I really didn't expect him to be this good in game.
Should be interesting to see how he finds a way to slow down Chris Paul next game.
Still a piece away from making the playoffs I think but definitely hope for the future.
Sean Williams is making his presence felt as well. He's averaged 5 points, 5 boards and 2 blocks in the past 2 games.
If Rubio would've came to the NBA this year, Sessions would not be in a Wolves jersey right now. Blessing in disguise I suppose.
I appreciate all the replies guys. Thanks for following. :joystick:Comment

To be honest, the thought of drawing something up for Stephen Jackson crossed my mind considering the turmoil going on in Golden State but it really wouldn't fit into what I'm trying to do.
Definitely looking to build through the draft and develop the young talent on my roster, much like the Blazers have done over the past couple of years. Try to pick up young, solid talent with some upside in free agency, etc etc.
I do think I will have the cap room to make a huge splash in free agency but Wade/Lebron in a Wolves jersey? Yeah, not exactly the most realistic scenario.
Flynn, Love and Jefferson are the core I intend to build around. I can't guarantee Brewer and Sessions will have their starting jobs at the 2 and 3 come next season if I manage to find upgrades at those spots.Comment

I don't understand why people stress so much about realism. I can understand trades and what not but when it comes to FA if you make an offer, and they accept? Fair game. You shouldn't have to dumb down your game, or not make the moves you want to for the approval of others, based on "realism". Don't know man, never really a fan of the realism argument. /rant.25-02, 23:16 Yawkey Way celtics fucking suckComment

I feel you.
I guess it has to do with more of "dumbing" down my game than realism I suppose. If I manage to land a top tier FA like that, the game will become too easy for me imo and I'm trying to avoid that. I'd rather take a group of mid-tier guys, see them develop and make my push like that.
If this year's game factors team location when it comes to free agency bidding, I probably wouldn't be able to land them either way. This is all assuming they don't re-sign and even test free agency waters.
I've always been a fan of realism in my chises though. Guilty as charged. :s:Last edited by mfbmike; 10-14-2009, 12:30 PM.Comment
