Tough loss, however it was the first chance you had to see if Bradford can handle the pressure on him. It seems he did ok so thats a plus to take from the game.Comment

Bradford actually played a lot better than the stat line indicates. The drops just absolutely killed us. It was like every other pass including the game winning touchdown was dropped. Two of the drops went right into the other teams hands. The third pick was just a bad throw. He definitely has shown though that he can handle the pressure of having to win games. Hopefully if Lynch can stay healthy though we can take a little bit of the load off Bradford."Cheese is a modern day badass" - BonesMahoneyComment

3 Key Matchups to Watch
1)CB Leodis McKelvin vs. WR Devin Hester: Edge: Hester
2)QB Jay Cutler vs. Bills Secondary: Edge: Cutler
3)HB Marshawn Lynch vs. Bears Front Seven: Edge: Even
Prediction:
After losing a heartbreaker last week to the Patriots, the Bills will again be on the road against an undefeated team. This week it's the Chicago Bears. If the Bills are to have any shot in this one Marshawn Lynch has to stay healthy and give that offense a little balance. Bradford has been great for a rookie but he is getting absolutely no help from the rest of the offense. The receivers for the Bills have to step up as well, 10 drops is unacceptable in the national football league. The Bears are led by the two of the best in the business in QB Jay Cutler and HB Matt Forte. I think the Bears continue to roll winning 28-17."Cheese is a modern day badass" - BonesMahoneyComment

Another Week, Another Heartbreak; Bills Lose 36-33 in OT
Bears WR Devin Hester dives for a second quarter touchdown.
(1-2)- 33
(3-0)- 36
AP Chicago – The Bills fell again in heartbreak fashion losing to the Bears 36-33 in overtime. After a quiet first quarter, the Bears offense got moving putting up 13 points led by WR Devin Hester. Hester would finish the game with two touchdowns. The game got out of hand near the end of the first half when Bills WR Miles Austin dropped a sure completion tipping it up into the air allowing Bears CB D.J. Moore to pick it off and return it for the score.
Both teams battled fiercely in the second half matching each other score for score. The Bills managed to hold the Bears offense to just a field goal late in the game to keep the game within reach. Bills rookie QB Sam Bradford and the offense took the field with just 1:03 remaining and no timeouts. In storybook fashion, Bradford redeemed himself for his earlier errors, driving the Bills down into the redzone. With just 24 seconds remaining in the game, Bradford hit HB Dominic Rhodes for a 10 yard touchdown to send the game into overtime.
It was not meant to be, however, as the Bears after winning the coin toss marched down the field to set up a game winning 37 yd FG from PK Robbie Gould. The Bills will finish up their four game road stretch in Miami against the Dolphins (1-2). The Bears will take their undefeated record to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers (1-2).

Prediction:
Another heartbreaking loss dropped the Bills to last place in the division. This isn't quite a must win game but it will be a long road if the Bills continue to fall behind in the division. Last season the Bills went 1-1 against the Dolphins. Bills HB Marshawn Lynch must get back to his pro bowl form if this team is going to make a playoff run. Bills QB Sam Bradford cannot be responsible for shouldering all the load. Look for Lynch to get plenty of touches in this one. Bills end their losing streak knocking off Miami 31-21."Cheese is a modern day badass" - BonesMahoneyComment

Bills Pay High Price for 21-20 Victory
Bills rookie QB Sam Bradford being taken off the field just before halftime.
(2-2)- 21
(1-3)- 20
AP Miami – The Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins 21-20. The Bills, however, paid a high price for the divisional win. Bills rookie QB Sam Bradford had to be carted off the field just before halftime after a vicious hit from ROLB Joey Porter. X-rays later confirmed that Bradford had suffered a herniated disk. He is expected to miss at least ten weeks with the injury. Bradford had a rough first half against the aggressive Dolphins defense throwing an interception and was unable to get the Bills on the scoreboard. Buffalo went into the half trailing 10-0.
Bills QB Trent Edwards got the call after the devastating injury to Bradford. Edwards played nothing short of perfect, finding TE Shawn Nelson for a 46 yd score on his first pass of the game. Edwards continued to dissect the Dolphins pass defense leading the Bills to 21 second half points. Edwards would finish the game with a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3 and three passing touchdowns. Edwards is expected to be the starter in Bradford’s absence.
“I’m ready to prove that I deserve to be a starter in this league. This is a big opportunity for me to prove that I’m the guy here in Buffalo and I plan to take full advantage of it. Last season was a huge disappointment for me. You’re never happy to see a teammate hurt especially if he is a good friend like Bradford is to me. But I will take the opportunity to prove to the coaches, the fans, and my team that I can lead this team to the playoffs and beyond. “ – Bills QB Trent Edwards
Dolphins QB Chad Pennington threw for two touchdowns in the losing effort. The Dolphins will travel to Cincinnati to take on the high scoring Bengals (2-2). The Bills will play their home opener against the Minnesota Vikings (2-1) after playing their first four games on the road.
