                Tigers Take Down Tough Righty, Sweep Rangers In Front Of Home Crowd

                Curtis Granderson and Kevin Millwood can't help but watch 1 of Curtis' homers carry over the right field wall.

                The Tigers beat the Rangers by a comfortable margin, 5-1, sending the Comerica Park fans home in good spirits. Armando Galarraga went the first 8 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits to notch his 1st win of the season. Pacing the offense was curtis Granderson, who collected 3 hits, including 2 solo home runs for his 2nd and 3rd on the season. Placido Polanco and Brandon Inge also drilled home runs. Polanco a solo shot, while Inge brought in 2 runs on his home run, bringing in Marcus Thames. The Tigers start a series with the visting White Sox tomorrow, sending Jerermy Bonderman (0-1, 6.75 ERA) to the mound against Mark Buehrle (0-0, 7-50 ERA).
