It's time for some serious debate. I have Travis Hafner sitting in the middle of my line-up supposed to be the big man for this group. When actually my middle of the line-up is hurting with Victor Martinez just now creeping into .300 range, Hafner is hitting at a low .282 and Ryan Garko is stuck at the .200 range as well. Worst of all Grady Sizemore is easily in this group a .200 even.
I need the long ball, Choo, DeRosa, Peralta, Fransisco, Cabrera are beasting compared to these dudes and without that home run threat I'm thinking that my team is going to suffer in the long run, especially since guys in the second batch of players mentioned are not home-run threats.
I'm debating moving Hafner/Martinez. I know some would say that's suicide for the Indians but if you look at the depth chart, Kelly Shoppach is a decent catcher, there is also a young prospect in the minors (can't recall his name right now and my game isn't in front of me) that could easily come up to play behind Shoppach. And Hafner is a DH. Sizemore/Garko get the nod to stay because of their defensive talent. Suggestions welcomed. This is a move in late-may, early june if it does go down I want to start shopping now. If you think that this is unrealistic pull the plug.
maybe he doesn't suck, but he sure is sucking for me in my chise. to the point where he is frustrating. Maybe I've gotten accustomed to the other members of my bench actually producing when they've been given the opportunity. lawl.

In my Nats chise, I am 3-9 and my pitching is TERRIBLE. I need some help and I need to make a move for a SP. Here is what I might do, tell me what you think.
Blue Jays receive: LF Willie Harris, 2B Anderson Hernandez
Ok, instead of the McGowan trade, I have thought a lot and went over all the teams' rosters and I have come up with the following possible trades, all of which I have proposed and all would be accepted if I chose to do it. After going over their rosters, I looked at what they need and checked if they had a SP that I want, so tell me which one to do.
Rockies receive: LF Josh Willingham Nationals receive: SP Jeff Francis, or Greg Smith, or Aaron Cook
OR
Pirates receive: LF Josh Willingham Nationals receive: Tom Gorzelanny (on trading block) or Paul Maholm
Twins receive: SS Christian Guzman and 2B Anderson Hernandez or CF Corey Patterson Nationals receive: SP Scott Baker and SS Brendan Harris (will take over for Guzman)
Each of these possible trades will help both teams involved.
Yeah, I was favoring the Francis trade, and you say that I should add a prospect, or they should? I will most likely do that trade later. I do want to find a way to get rid of Christian Guzman though for a quality SP so I will have to see what else I can do.
