Are these fair/smart trades?

Paul Maholm for Oliver Perez, Alex Cora

and then


Jack Wilson for Andre Eithier.

No on the Wilson for Either thing. The Dodgers have Furcal at SS for one thing and secondly doubtful they'd want to give up Either who is a very promising RF.

Maholm for Perez and Cora is IMO is fine. The Mets may have the edge in the deal a bit but overall I'd say they would do the trade in a heartbeat and you unload Maholm like you want.

Going to have to give up a rather good prospect IMO. Maybin maybe? Or the trade you posted on the other page would work. The one involving Uggla.

I think the first one might be. The 2nd one definitely isn't. Ethier hit like .460 in September last year and looks great, and they already have Furcal -- why would they need Wilson?

Uggla will for sure go if he is struggling after a 1 month or 2. Cody Ross can go. I got a couple prospects in mind as well. I'll propose a trade here in a second.

Yeah, dunno. I still got a ways to go before I do the trade anyways, but it will most likely include Uggla and I'd hate to ship off maybin but if hes not doing too great then hes in the talks most likely.

Actually I found it on google. Surprisingly, IRL Jack might go there for Matt Kemp.

Yeah, Dodgers won't trade Kemp now, especially for Jack Wilson. Furcal wasn't back yet last July so that's why the Dodgers were looking for an SS, but now that they have Furcal, Wilson isn't needed in Chavez Ravine

A mid-low level prospect. Unless you can find a team desperate for a #5 starting pitcher. Then maybe you could squeeze a marginal MLB bench player or an average to below average AAA guy.

We'll see. On 2nd thought, I may keep him just for pitching depth. I have depth on the offensive side of the ball and not as much for the pitching staff.

Honestly I think that you should wait until June or July to make trades and just send down any badly performing players to the minors, takes away from the realisim imo,

no way the marlins would trade bonifacio for Wilson. Even the Maholm and vasquez for perez and cora doesnt make much sense to me either.
