David Garrard To Buffalo?

Inside sources within the Jags organization have released that they Jaguars are talking with the Buffalo Bills on a possible trade. David Garrard might be playing in Buffalo by the trade deadline. The Jags recently signed Colt Brennan and have interest in him becoming the starter and moving along with the team. The deal so far is SS Bryan Scott in exchange for David Garrard. Scott would become the starting Strong Safety in replace of Gerald Alexander. If this trade does go through look for the Jags to dump Alexander in a trade immediately following this one. Garrads agent has not called back regarding any information on this trade.

Jags and Bills Reach Deal

Jacksonville, FL -

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills have reached a deal. Just 1 week before the trade deadline the Jags made their move. The Jags will send QB David Garrard and SS Sean Considine to the Bills in exchange for SS Bryan Scott and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Colt Brennan, who played great last week against the Colts will get the starting spot as Luke McCown and Fitzpatrick will battle for the backup job. Scott will come in and start over Gerald Alexander. Alexander may also be traded soon as he is good trade bait for a team that needs a safety.

Jags and Seahawks Trade Players and Picks

Jacksonville, FL -

The Jaguars have made their final move of the season. The Jags will send Safety Gerald Alexander and their 1st round pick in exchange for WR Mike Williams and their 1st round pick. Williams the former USC receiver will be a great over the middle receiver with his 6'5 frame. Alexander slide down to the 2nd spot on the depth chart after Bryan Scott was acquired.

The best move is the exchanging of the draft picks. The Jags are currently 3-1 and are looking for a 10 win season. As the Seahawks are currently 1-3 and don't look like they will win 8+ games the pick should be pretty low in the draft.

As a part of the Garrard trade a unnamed draft pick was involved and sources have said that the pick is the Bills 3rd round pick. So the Jags have now acquired that pick as well.

Vet Shawn Springs was also signed during this week to be the 3rd string corner. Springs add some veteran experience to the secondary and will more then likely retire at season's end. The Jags have around 38M in cap room and plan to make big moves in the Off season.
