Bedoya impresses for the United States

Johannesburg -- Alejandro Bedoya put in a man of the match performance during the U.S.A.'s friendly 1-1 draw with South Africa this evening, according to the American Football Informer.

Bedoya put in an impressive performance for the U.S.A. and his goal will have been the icing on the cake for the central midfielder. Bedoya gave the United States the lead with a tidy finish in the 40th minute. Bedoya's impressive performance was down to the constant goal threat he posed due to the accuracy of his shooting. The goal marked his first international goal of his career.

WASHINGTON D.C. -- U.S.A. coach Bob Bradley has named his squad for the friendly against Chile on Wednesday.

Rangers central midfielder Mikkel Diskerud could be given the opportunity to win his first cap, along with Tim Ream and Michael Stephens.
