Heat lose Banks, Curry to injuries in back-to-back games




These two injuries are huge losses for the Heat. Just 1 game after coming back from a strained achilies, Stephen Curry gets taken to the ground by Deron Williams and holds his stomach. He went back to the locker room and was diagnosed with strained abdomen muscle. He is expected to miss about 15 days. Then in the next game against the Pacers, Marcus Banks was hitting every shot he could get. He even hit a four point play in the 4th quarter. Then 40 seconds later on a fast break, Marcus Banks was throw down by Hasheem Thabeet. He got up very low, holding his hip. He is expected to be hurt for seven days with a bruised hip. He can still play, and will play limited minutes. Look for Dwyane Wade to play extra minutes at the PG while Livingston is out and Courtney Lee and DerMarr Johnson will play the 2 while Wade is at the 1.
