3rd Injury in 3 Games but Rockets Survive Wizards

Yao Ming comes from behind to block a lay-up attempt from DeShawn Stevenson. Yao had 2 blocks on the night.

    Player of the Game:

    Yao Ming

    Quote of the Night:
"We're really having issues staying healthy the last few games and all season as a matter of fact. I'm going to give the guys off tomorrow so they can rest up and then we'll be back at it when we host Milwaukee on New Years Eve. Hopefully we can get a win to end the year and set a few resolutions to win a championship this season. Aaron sprained his wrist tonight and he should be able to play through it but he'll have a lot of pain in the near future. Depending how he feels tomorrow, Von may make his first start of the season. If he feels okay, Aaron will stay as the starter. Only time will tell I guess." - Houston Rockets head coach Rick Adelman

Meanwhile, as Yao is getting his 2nd block of the night, Luis Scola is sniffing his Chinese brown eye. Damn foreign people.

Kyle Lowry, Aaron Brooks, and Shane Battier are all hurt or out with injuries right now. I'm not in good shape. Wafer will be starting against the Bucks!

Injuries are killing me. Brooks will be able to play through it though. He just needs some time to rest so I'm cutting back his minutes to around 20+ a game.

Thanks. should have added a no romo though.

They came back once Brooks got hurt. I think I'm going to miss his shooting ability a lot because his wrist is fucked up so he can't shoot at all I'm guessing.

                        Player of the Game:

                        Richard Jefferson

                        Quote of the Night:
"We really struggled tonight without the depth we needed to beat a solid Milwaukee team. Shane, Kyle, and Aaron are expected to be less than 100% for another two weeks so hopefully we can come out of the gates rolling so we don't have to rely on our shortage of bench players to get a lead for us. It's a tough game to lose considering the solid night Yao had but he knows it's a team game and he wont be happy with a performance like that when it ends in a loss. We've got New Years Day off and we head up to Canada on Friday to face the Raptors. Hopefully we can pull out a big win with Calderon less than 100% with his dislocated finger." - Ron Artest
