Knicks Blow 1st Half Lead, Fall To Wizards

Gilbert Arenas lead the Wizards in the 2nd half, here is is dishing out one of his 13 assists

This was a dissapointing end result for us, we should've won this one but our 2nd half was shocking and let us down, they out scored us 15 to 32 points in 4th the and thats what really hurt us, our ability to close out games. Rebounding was a big key in this game, they out rebounded us by far. David Lee started off rebounding well but couldn't keep it up and needed to if we were going to have any chance of winning. Everyone needed to step up in the 2nd half but we didnt and it cost us.

Yeah he does, once he starts hitting 3's it seems like he gets on a role. he got all 3 of his in the 2nd half

Another Game, The Same Result, Knicks Slump Continues

Michael Redd goes in for a layup, Redd finished with 20 points.

”Each Game we play it seems like it is ending the same way, we start off well and get out to a comfortable lead. But then in the 4th quarter we always lose the lead and that costs us big time. There’s nothing to point out what things need to be improved to stop this, our offence with Nate and Chandler leading the way was good. Our rebounding lead by Lee and Landry was solid. Our defence could be improved slightly still but we just need to be consistent night in night out.” – James Posey after the game

The other story of the night was Trent Hobbs, the number one overall draft pick for the Milwakuee Bucks. He came up big in the 4th and caused problems with our defence. He clearly proved to be a good choice for the Bucks.

Knicks Make Huge Final Run But Lose There 3rd In A Row

Mike D'Antoni reunited with his old team once again but his Knicks couldn't get what they really needed, a win.

This is our 3rd loss in a row and things arent going well, the Suns have always been a tough opposition but we matched there skill tonight. It showed in the fourth where we went on a big run to try and steal the win, it got within 3 points and we had the chance to tie with a 3. It was an inbound play, nate came off a screen losing his man just then getting a look at 3 but he missed it and Suns went on to win. Our starters lead the way for us but even they couldn't get enough points for a win. Shaq and Steve Nash were a great duo and were the Suns best players. For the Knicks, Nate and Chandler continued to score well both finishing with 20+ points, but they needed some help out there if we were to win. Its time to take the positives out of this game and focus on our next.
