The 2010 Allstars Have Been Announced!
      So, Which Knick Made It?

      Ramon Sessions
Ramon Sessions was aquired from Milwaukee this year in exchange for Chris Duhon, the Knicks starting Point Guard has shown that it was a great move, he's not only nearly been averaging a double double this year but he's defensive pressure is outstanding as he leads the NBA in Steals Per Game. Sessions has had a great first year as a Knick and is going to make his 1st all star appearance this year.

      Averages: 10.6 PPG | 1.4 RPG | 9.1 APG | 4.5 SPG

      David Lee
On the other side is David Lee, Lee is a fan favourite in New York and deserves to be an Allstar. His effort night in - night out shows exactly what hes all about, hustle, rebounding, and scoring. He's also become more of a leader and is a great Role Model for younger players. David Lee is also going to make his 1st Allstar appearance this year, Lee's had some outstanding games this year but has also been consistant each game.

      Averages: 15.7 PPG | 6.9 RPG | 1.6 APG | 2.2 SPG | 1.3 BPG

Thanks, i was a bit dissapointed when Nate didn't make it but 2 is pretty good anyway. Nate wasn't consistant enough even though he does lead our team in PPG

                          2010 NBA Allstar Game

                          EAST Vs WEST

East Put On A Show To Remember, LeBron / Rose / Wade Lead East Over West

Above: East showed all aspects of the game - blocking shots - throwing alley-oops - circus shots. They were all there.

                          East Allstars: | West Allstars:
                          17|18|33|26|94 | 25|19|12|27|83

The West Allstars got off to a good start but after the 1st quarter it was all East. All the momentum was on there side, and as usual there were some great highlights. Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade teamed up well as Rose found Wade for alot of alley-oop dunks that got the crowd fired up. LeBron James had a great all round game once again for the East, but the main highlight that he brought to the game were his blocks in transition. This year went to the East but there were some exciting highlights for both teams.

Ramon Sessions And David Lee Participate
In There First Ever Allstar Game

As of yesterday Ramon Sessions and David Lee of the New York Knicks can proudly say that they've both been an Allstar and had the oppurtunity to play with the best players in the league all at once.

Both Lee or Sessions didn't have huge impacts in the game but were limited to court time. But thats not what should be focused on, what got them there is the season there having. Both have been a big part of the Knicks results this year, something that has stood out for both of them has been there consitancy, either of them haven't had a bad game so far.

Knicks fans appreciate these guys efforts and along with others had good 1st time Allstar experiences.

David Lee Sits Down To Answer A Few Q's

Now David, your fresh off your first ever Allstar game just 2 days ago, how was it for you?
You know, its such an honour to play with all those guys out there, it's just good to get out on court and have a bit of fun

It looked that way, did you ever expect to be named an Allstar this year? Did you think you were having a good enough season?
It barely popped into my mind, I just try my best out there every game i play and i guess it payed off. I knew Ramon [Sessions] was having a great season so i had a feeling he might make it but it just added even more of a suprise when i found out that we both made it.

Speaking of Ramon Sessions, this guy only came to New York this season and obviously has made his mark, how did you feel when you knew that you'd be getting a new starting PG? Were your expectations high for Ramon?
To be honest, i knew Ramon had skill but he suprised me a bit with just how much skill he had. He's been a great pickup for us and where all happy to have him leading our team out there. I remember that game against Lakers where he had a triple double with something like 11 steals, it was just amazing to see him constantly nagging the ball handler and coming away with the ball [laughs].

I think that suprised us all with that amazing display, where running out of time but just one last question quickly, what do you think is the main thing that New York has to improve if your going to make a late charge for the playoffs?
Well, the thing with our team this year, we've got all the pieces to a winning side, our management has made a few big signings. Now we've just got to put all the pieces together and make things click. We've shown that if we put all the pieces together that we can take down some of the top teams.

Well, goodluck with the rest of the season David, thanks for coming in.
No worries, thanks for having me.
