If you were to change is there any team in particular that you'd go with? Stick with an EPL team?
I'd like to see a chise from you man - think it'd be great.
As for a team in either game, if FIFA is legit - definitely will do an England based team. I am a sucker for Championshp football (Leeds United, Cardiff City, Preston, etc) - I like the smaller towns/venues and the idea of having a team being truly built up into the Premiership would be great.Comment

Fulham 2-4 Palermo
Cottagers slashed at hand of De Melo and Group Leaders
-Johnson Peoples, December 2014
--------------------------------------------------
Matteo could not shake off the pulled hamstring injury, while De Melo was the hat-trick superstar for the Italian side.
'68 Giovinco, '79 Agbonlahor
Caution: Painstil ('27), Steve Davis ('85) Sent Off:
'38-56-92 De Melo, '73 Nocerino
Caution: Nocerino ('18) Sent Off:
UCL Qualifying Standings:
GROUP A
1. Palermo -- 13 pts {4-1-0)
2. Valencia -- 10 pts (3-1-1)
3. Fulham -- 2 pts (0-2-3)
4. FC Volendam -- 1 pts (0-2-3)
---------------------------------------------------
Injured again. At first I thought when he went down as a result of Nocerino's tackle from behind, that was the culprit. However, later on - he was hobbling and grabbing his hamstring. It wasn't pretty when you saw Matteo motion for a sub, just unfortunate - and I have just heard that he will not be ready in time for the clash against Bolton next week.

SIMMED RESULT
Fulham 2-2 Bolton
Cottagers sink down table with another winless match
-Johnson Peoples, December 2014
--------------------------------------------------
Standings: Fulham (4-2-2, 14 pts -- 9th)
1. Man U (24 pts), 2. Man City (18 pts), 3. Liverpool (16 pts), 4. Everton (16 pts)
---------------------------------------------------
Matteo healthy, but not go for Volendam. A pulled hamstring was the diagnosis, expected to only miss a week. Matteo was quoted before the Bolton game as "feeling good", but did not dress for the match. Up next is FC Volendam in the Uefa Champions League qualifying - a fairly pointless match as far as numbers are concerned, but would have been another chance to showcase some talent to the possible Euro clubs looking within.Last edited by Matt10; 08-30-2009, 03:45 PM.Comment

SIMMED RESULT
Fulham 3-2 FC Volendam
Cottagers finish Champions League stint with victory
-Johnson Peoples, December 2014

UCL Qualifying Standings: FINAL
GROUP A (O = qualified)
1. O---Palermo -- 16 pts (5-1-0)
2. O---Valencia -- 10 pts (3-1-2)
3. Fulham -- 5 pts (1-2-3)
4. FC Volendam -- 2 pts (0-2-4)

Matteo given the go ahead. It was unfortunate that Matteo was unable to finish the qualifying stages with a goal, but some say his focus can be primarily on having Fulham finish well again in the Premiership, get into the final stages of the Premiership Cup and finally, the Uefa Cup. However, for the time being, up next is Aston Villa.Comment

SIMMED RESULT
Fulham 0-3 Aston Villa
Matteo gets screwed by Matt10's lady
-Johnson Peoples, December 2014
--------------------------------------------------
Standings: Fulham (4-2-3, 14 pts -- 9th)
1. Man U (27 pts), 2. Everton (19 pts), 3. Liverpool (19 pts), 4. Middlesbrough (18 pts)
---------------------------------------------------
She pulled the plug on the win. Approximately 20 minutes ago, fresh off of a 1-0 win against Aston Villa - Lam Matteo's winner mind you - Matt10's woman, we'll call her "Ess", decided to push the plug of the PS3 while she was vacuuming.
"Damnit!!!", was all that could be heard from Matt10 amongst the noise, "I felt like something bad was going to happen when she started," starting to cool down, "However, it's not THAT big of a deal - and the fact that she was wearing just a towel helped ease the pain."
Unintentionally simmed.Last edited by Matt10; 08-30-2009, 05:47 PM.Comment

Man of the match again, Lam Matteo struck early in the first half, and finished with an assist to help Fulham win over Wigan.
Wigan Athletic 2-3 Fulham
Outstanding play of Matteo lifts Cottagers past Wigan
-Johnson Peoples, December 2014
--------------------------------------------------
'11 De Ridder, '75 Bonnart
Caution: Sent Off:
'3-'35 Matteo, '61 Lazaros
Caution: Volz (17), Teymourian (86) Sent Off:
Standings: Fulham (4-1-2, 13 pts -- 6th)
---------------------------------------------------
Back with style. Officially his match back from injury, Lam Matteo shined brightly amongst the other players, scoring two goals and an assist to Lazaros in the second half. He, as always, could have had more goals - but Isaksson made some fantastic saves to keep the striker from his hat-trick.
