Chelsea spending like crazy. Kaka, Robinho, Di Maria lol. Gotta say I dislike the transfer system in FIFA, so many unrealistic transfers.

edit: Did forget those numbers weren't in pounds though, so not quite as much as I was thinking.

They needed some new guys upfront after then sold Drogba and Anelka.

My power went out again Friday so I lost a few days again. Not much changed. For my followers out there, reread the deadline day post. There were a few differences, but minimal.

Not mine. Kinda wish it did since my power went out again!! Reread the deadline post again lol.

I just save it this time so this won't happen again.

That looks like a decent deal for you, with Mikel in.

                      Postgame Press Conference:
"Feels good to pick up three points away from home. Gameiro found the back of the net again today. This one did come with a bit of luck. Higuain ripped one near side which hit the post and the ball feel perfectly to Gameiro who just had to tap it in. As for Higuain, we did bring him in because of his goal scoring history. Although he's yet to find the back of the net, he has been quality for us. Menez had a great scoring chance in the game, but hit it right at the keeper. Higuain was there, but the rebound was just out of his reach. You figure if luck was on his side the score would've been 2-0. Besides that, our defense played well again today. Evian really only had one real chance of scoring, and our keeper came up with a nice save. The win today gives us 10 points on the year and in third place in the table."

About to update the league table and top scores.

                          Postgame Press Conference:
"We picked up three point again today. This time in front of the home supports. This was Higuain coming out game. The first goal, from Pastore, came off a lovely ball from Higuain who was running down the left side and played the ball to the middle just ahead of the defender and right to Pastore. Higuain's first goal was a world class finish. Albrighton played the ball to him and with his first touch he set himself up and with his second touch he hit a bender with pace around a diving defender and the keeper. We also switched the formation up twice today. We started the game in a 4-2-3-1, which I thought we played very well in. We dominated possession and never really allowed Brest to control the ball in their own half. After about thirty minutes I felt, since most of the game was being played in Brest's final third, I'd switch to a 4-2-2-2 with Pastore playing along side Higuain. It did play off as we went ahead 1-0, but it opened up the middle of the field and Brest took advance of that and slowed the game down. We learned a lot today and now we need to prepare for our next match in just four days."

Nice to see Higuain get his first goal(s) with the club.

Gonna have to shake up the lineup a bit with your next match so soon?

Yeah. Two matches in four days was a little rough. I'm about to post the game summary here in a sec of my latest match. Now we have a week off before we play a cup match followed by a league match four days later. I'll have to make a few more switches in the cup match to make sure everyone is set to face Montpellier.

                                Postgame Press Conference:
"The term in American Football is "defense wins championships." And I think it's our defense that's been the source of our recent success. We've been able to push higher up the pitch and guys like Mikel and Jallet and venturing further up the pitch in support. Jallet was receiving some criticism earlier on in the season, and I think he was our best and most energetic guy out there today. He made a key block on a shot that came at the top of the box. Also, on a low cross, our keeper was able to get a hand on it to half clear the ball away and Jallet out muscled to Nice striker and headed the ball to safety. If Jallet wasn't there it could've been an easy goal. I really haven't talked much about the defense this season and that's probably a good thing. Usually when things go well you praise your attackers and when thinks go wrong you blame the defense. That came only mean things are going well. There really is no one player that has really stood out. Like I said before, Jallet has really turns things around and we need that if we want to win the league. Our two centre-backs have been a real force in the middle and van der Weil has adjusted well to French League Football. Both Pastore and Gameiro scored again today. We just need to ride this momentum and see where it takes us."
