Nuggets Finalize 15-Man Roster With The Signing Of PF Malcolm Thomas

(AP) -- In light of the injured center Javale McGee, the Nuggets looked to free agency just for an athletic body to fill the void down low for a few games.

They have signed power forward Malcolm Thomas to a 1yr/$1.00M deal.

Thomas will debut against the Miami Heat, but is only expected to see limited time this season.

Denver Nuggets Transaction Update (Trade Deadline)

Welcome JJ Hickson, To The Mile High City!

(AP) -- The Denver Nuggets and Charlotte Bobcats were the only teams to make deals on this 2014 NBA Trade Deadline.

The Nuggets sent a disgruntled Andre Miller, who wasn't happy with the way his career was heading as he rode the bench in the Denver behind the newly acquired Nate Robinson, to Charlotte in return for a big bodied post defender in JJ Hickson.

"Although it's tough to see Andre [Miller] gone, we know that it's business and JJ Hickson is going to clog up that middle for us. Something our post defense has struggled with all season long." Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler told SS.net.

Hickson will wear #7 for the Nuggets.
