Manager's Notes: RVP is in midseason form already. Only reason to keep him in the lineup is to keep him in shape. Mats Hummels and Dante both impressed me, with ratings up above 9.0 and numerous blocked shots.

Manager's Notes: Things are really shaping up well with one friendly left to play. Shinji Kagawa was amazing in his short cameo, creating chances and netting two penalty kick goals. For now, here is what I think the formation will look like. I will try to incorporate it in our last friendly to see how it works.

Sorry for the recent post drought. I have been trying to keep up with school and baseball, as well as two different ensembles in my school's music department, so my schedule is packed. Don't worry though, I will be back to playing when I possibly can.

            77' Goal, Robin van Persie(MUN)

Manager's Notes: The move to the diamond wide formation worked really well, and I plan to use it again in the Community Shield against Chelsea. Shinji Kagawa cemented his place in the starting eleven with an excellent performance, and he seemed to have good chemistry with van Persie and Rooney up front.

                9' Goal, Juan Mata(CHE)
                42' Goal, Javi Martinez(MUN)

                82' Goal, Wayne Rooney(MUN)

Manager's Notes: We looked sluggish at first, but were able to pull ourselves together and come out with the trophy. The goal we gave up was lazy defending, De Gea did everything he could to stop Robert Lewandowski's attempt, but the rebound went right to an unmarked Juan Mata. We can't be giving up goals like that during the league season or we are going to be in deep trouble.
