DETROIT, MI (AP)- A sloppy first half in which saw Joey Harrington carve up the Cardinals secondary was negated by two second half interceptions in Arizona's 26-14 win over the home team. Harrington had a big first half like I said, but Arizona's secondary held him to under 80 yards passing in the second half. Duane Starks picked off his league leading eight pas in the third quarter and Mike Rumph added his fourth interception later. Drew Henson completed 25 passes for 268 yards, with over half of them going to Anquan Boldin. Boldin stepped up in place of the injured Larry Fitzgerald to catch 13 passes for 164 yards and a first quarter touchdown.
Detroit got the ball with 45 seconds down in the first half, looking for the lead. After a deflection by Starks, Harrington hit rookie Roy Williams over the middle for 17 yards and then found tight end Stephen Alexander for 21 yards. After a timeout, Harrington found the rookie on a post for 22 yards and a touchdown to give Detroit a 14-10 halftime advantage.
Coming off the Starks interception early in the third quarter, Henson found Boldin for eight yards on first down. After Emmitt Smith was stopped for no gain, Henson found a hole and broke off for four yards to keep the drive alive. He then found Boldin again and Nathan Poole both for six yard gains before the fullback James Hodgins got a rare carry and mae the most of it, with a one yard touchdown. Arizona hits the 10 win plateau and will host the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday.

Rattay struggled heavily last time these teams matched up, and he hasn't proven anything that makes you think he'll perform differently this time. Look for a long game from him. Henson had an awful game last time against the Niners and will look to put that behind him this week. Without Larry Fitzgerald though, that might be tough.
Barlow was awful last game against Arizona, rushing for only nine yards on 15 carries. He has improved from that, as he's on pace to rush for 1000 yards this year, but look for another disappointing game against the Cardinals defense. Smith got over the century mark last week, so it looks like he's rebounding from his bad game against the Jets.
DREW DOMINATES THE AIR, CARDINALS CLINCH ON THROWBACK DAY
Freddie Jones catches this Drew Henson pass in the middle of the field for a touchdown. Jones had six catches on the day for Arizona.
FIRST QUARTER SF- Kevan Barlow 1 yard run (Todd Peterson kick)
SECOND QUARTER ARZ- Emmitt Smith 2 yard run (Neil Rackers kick) ARZ- Drew Henson 5 yard pass to Anquan Boldin (Neil Rackers kick) ARZ- Drew Henson 4 yard pass to Nathan Hodel (Neil Rackers kick)
THIRD QUARTER ARZ- Drew Henson 7 yard pass to Freddie Jones (Neil Rackers kick)
FOURTH QUARTER ARZ- Neil Rackers 21 yard field goal
GLENDALE, AZ (AP) - With the Cardinals wearing throwback jerseys, fans hoped they wouldn't play like the old teams and instead play like the Cardinals of 2004. Just like last time these teams matched up, Arizona throttled the lowly 49ers, 31-7. However, unlike the last game between these NFC West foes, Drew Henson was rock solid. In the earlier matchup he struggled, throwing four interceptions. This time? 310 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception for the talented rookie quarterback.
The 49ers started the game with a long drive, led by runningback Kevan Barlow. Barlow carried the ball five times for 16 yards before Tim Rattay attempted his first pass. He hit rookie Derrick Hamilton on a deep strike for 56 yards, and then hit Brandon Lloyd for seven yards. Barlow carriit to the one yard line, where after an incompletion, he punched it in for San Francisco's only score.
Arizona got it going in the second quarter, when Henson found Kevin Kasper for 63 yards. The next play Emmitt Smith carried it over the goal line to tie the game. Forgetting the loss to the Jets, Smith has went off, rushing for 100 yards in the last five games. He has 101 yards on 21 carries. Henson got the ball back for Arizona after a 49ers three-and-out and hit Nathan Poole for four yards. Freddie Jones caught a 10 yard pass for a first down, and then Smith carried the ball for 21 yards. Henson and Boldin then went off, connecting for an 11 yard pass and a 22 yard pass before connecting again for a five yard score.
Henson added a late first half score to Nathan Hodel and then on the first drive of the second half, Arizona drove down the field where he found Jones for six. Arizona improves to 11-2 and clinches a playoff berth. They continue playing divisional teams, hosting the St. Louis Rams next week.
