Baltimore Is Gonna Mix Things Up
Ryan Freel Hopes He Can Gain More Playing Time
Last series the Orioles barely hit over .200 as a team which is a problem. When the team struggles to get on base they also struggle to score runs. Dave Trembley has a possible solution for this problem, he's going to change up the lineup a little bit. Adam Jones is really struggling lately and will be placed on the bench for the upcoming series against the Nationals. Jones will be replaced by Ryan Freel who hasn't had a chance to play very much this season playing in only 16 games with 46 at-bats. Freel has this to say about the move, "I'm glad I am finally getting a chance to play, i hope i can perform well enough to keep getting consistent playing time. I can bring more speed into the lineup and steal some bases to keep us from hitting into so many double plays." Other lineup changes that will occur are Matt Wieters will also sit the bench for the upcoming series and will be replaced by Gregg Zaun who is on a somewhat hot streak.
Orioles Lineup
2B - Brian Roberts
CF - Ryan Freel
RF - Nolan Reimold
1B - Aubrey Huff
DH - Luke Scott
3B - Melvin Mora

SS - Robert AndinoComment

Hopefully? It's the Nats. Sweep them. GL with the new lineup. That Reimold guy got some really good hits off me in the games I played that he was in the lineup.Comment

this is how the end of the game went...
-Top of the 8th Aubrey Huff breaks up Daniel Cabrera's no-hitter
-Nobody scores so we go to extras
-Top of the 10th O's go 3 up, 3 down
-Bottom of the 10th I call for a mound visit for Uehara and his confidence meter is maxed out but his energy bar is empty, so i called Sarfate out of the bullpen after he warmed up in the 9th. First pitch to Adam Dunn he takes as a ball. The commentator then says this guy can change the game with one hit. Next pitch Dunn crushes the ball into centerfield for the walk-off
i should have just let Uehara in for another inning. This is a fucking disgrace to be held to 1 hit by the NationalsComment
