Lumen is dumb and obnoxious. I hope she isn't sticking around as Dexter's new love interest.

Also, one weird thing about tonight: Cole comes literally busting through the connecting door to attack Lumen, then Dex kills him in the room. Are they just going to ignore the busted door? Wouldn't the fact that the door separating Cole and his rooms being shattered be something that would cause at least a little suspicion?

there has been a ton of holes in this season. stuff like that really turns me off. It was an otherwise good episode, but i was struggling with that part.

Plus having the PI take those pics. Sure he has a super zoom lens, but remember after the doaks crap when dex found a new dumping spot way out in the ocean to make the stuff flow up the atlantic? why is he all of a sudden in range of some guy taking pics from the doc.....its all BS and lazy writing

I only read the first one, and even that one has some huge differences, IIRC. Much to the shows betterment I think. The secondary characters in the book SUCK or are nonexistent.

One thing the book did better than S1:

IDK. I don't think Liddy is dumb enough to break into the place without making sure no one is there first. I have to imagine it's more likely to be someone working for Jordan Chase.

What if it's the next door neighbor dude who kissed Rita. Maybe he's the one who killed her afterall, not Trinity.

I find that hard to believe. I would think that he isn't good enough to pull that off without leaving evidence at the scene of the crime, not to mention copying Trinity's MO perfectly.

On the other hand, that one dude that was vandalizing shit in the neighborhood might be a possibility.

There is something about that guy that does not sit right with me.

Not to mention he is a character witness for Dexter being A. violent and B. really possessive.

I think he's been on to him for a while also, and the last time he talked to Quinn, he seemed like almost wanted Quinn to find some dirt.

This season is getting really interesting. Dexter always seems to get into crazy situations but always finds a way out but it just seems like worst than ever.
