      I thought it was entertaining.

I really liked the cliff hanger ending. I doubt they are going the "dream" route for next season though.

I have a feeling it might get interesting next season Deb professes her love to Dex. Dex realizes that he too is in love with Deb so Deb decides to keep Dex's secret a secret.

I think it would be pretty cool to see them go along with Deb being in charge of Homicide all the while knowing that Dex is a killer. As much as she loves finding "justice" I think she would prefer the "fucks" (which is a word I'm sure she would use to describe them) would just be killed anyway. So maybe they figure out a way that she can still get her case clearances and then Dex can still get his kill. I'm not sure how they could work it out but I'm sure there's a way. Maybe Deb would just clear the easy ones like domestic related homicides and Dex could handle the real twisted shitbags.

Or, who knows? Maybe Deb retires and joins Dex as sort of a Bonnie and Clyde scenario?

Yup, really missed an opportunity there.

Called it, by the way, but it was easy since they have been flirting with den finding out. Can't wait to see what happens, if we are lucky dexter will have to kill deb

Deb walking in on Dex was way too specific to be a dream. It's one thiing for her to dream that she is kissing him but to walk in on him killing the guy? No chance.

Although it is possible that Dex was dreaming. Maybe he passed out again from the after effects of the gas and never actually took out Hanks? Maybe Hanks comes back next season?

          So many possibilities.

I don't care about whether or not Dexter and Deb are full-blood, half-blood or adopted brother and sister...it is still fucked up and gross (and stupid).

If either of them was dreaming and Deb didn't actually walk in on Dexter then I'm done watching this show.

An interesting thing I read on Dexter that helps makes sense of these last 3 seasons and how random they appeared to be from one another is that the sow has had 3 different show runners every season since 3. I don't know if the season 6 showrunner is staying or leaving, but it does add some light as to why the show has seemed to change so much for the worse.

For all you guys thinking it was a dream, I can't find the link to the interview but last night I read one where they talked with one of the producers and one of the questions was if it was a dream sequence and he said it definitely was not. Take that for what you will...but I'm positive it wasn't a dream sequence. I'm very curious to see where they take this storyline now.

I'm sure next season will revolve around Dexter trying to convince Deb that what he is doing is okay and better for the world all the while a copycat killer (intern guy) rampages through the city. The entire season is going to revolve around the previous seasons, you can see it written all over the wall.

If it doesn't, the continuity problems that already exist will reach an all time high.

Hey, Deb, I'm a serial killer. You remember that psycho guy who you dated in season one? Yeah, the Ice Truck Killer. Well, he's my brother and only went after you to get to me, so I killed his dumbass.
Oh, yeah and Doakes was innocent, I used to him to cover my own ass and I really was the Bay Harbor Butcher.
The Skinner? Yeah, I don't even remember that guy, but Miguel Prado? I killed his dumbass after I tried to help him out and he took it much too far.
Remember when Rita got killed by the Trinity killer? It was my fault, but don't worry, I killed him too.
Also, you know when you thought that there was a vigilante going around taking out those crazy murder/rapists? Me too. You almost caught me, but you were stupid enough to let me and my apprentice who hasn't been spoken of since she finally realized that killing the 5 men who raped her was closure enough.
Oh and dad taught me how to do all this stuff. Love ya!

                            I fucking forgot about Doakes!

Ok, Dexter has indeed fallen off, but not as much as other shows have. Weeds fell faster than Enron.

Weeds was a little silly, but the show completely jumped the shark after they left agrestic.

Blame Larry for that one. I didn't think it made any sense either.
