Wait, even I think that Deb is in love with Dexter. Did I miss something. I could've sworn she came to an epiphany with her shrink and admitted to being in love with him? And at one point she talks about how she tells him she loves him and he responds with "I love you too", and she says how she knows he didn't mean it like she did "but it's a start".

As for anyone predicting that happening, I don't see how they could. I also don't think it;s the dumbest thing ever. It definitely makes sense. Dexter is the person Deb has been closest to her entire life. And they aren't blood related so if she wants to fuck him, go right ahead. Is it weird? Sure. But definitley plausible.

These past couple of seasons haven't been as good as the earlier ones, but I definitely like them better than Season 3. Season 3 is definitely my least favorite season

I don't know season 5 was pretty bad, its a toss up, but yeah no doubt season 3 was bad, I think i liked it a bit better than 5 because of Rita

I didn't mind season 3. Season 5 was the only real disappointment for me.

I'm up to episode 8 of season 6, so far it is better than 5 but that could change depending how they wrap things up

So finally finished season 6. Really liked it. The ending was pretty crazy and I'm hoping if they do a season 7 it will be the final one.

I might be wrong but I think somewhere earlier in this thread it was posted that it's been renewed for 2 more seasons.

Christ another year I have to wait.

I don't watch the show while its on and just wait till the seasons over then watch them all over a period of 2 or 3 days.

I'm about to watch the last episode of season 6 - i'm not expecting much.

The shit is so routine now, so predictable... I'm striking this off the list of shows I watch.. first 4 seasons were awesome though

I finally finished season 6. I only started watching Dexter about a month ago, and, yes, I finished all 6 seasons in that time frame.
What a great show.

I watched seasons 1 to 5 in 2 weeks when it was slow so lol.

 

I really hope they just kill Debra off. I hate her as a character

Good. Even though I think they could probably wrap it all up after the upcoming season. The show ran off the rails the last two seasons in terms of having a direction for the series as a whole and like Weeds seemed to be making episodes just to get to the next one.

The characters have gotten stale and the formula of new guest star enters season as antagonist, discovers Dexter's identity halfway through the season, is killed by Dexter, Dexter gives monologue on how the experience will make him a better father just makes for a viewing experience that falls well short of the heights the series enjoyed during the Trinity season.

I still contend that if the end the series with the death of Rita and then the ambiguity of Dexter's future, we're still talking about this show today as one of the best TV programs ever. Now I'm just happy to see that the end if mercifully in sight.
