I watched a clip earlier this week that showed Deb talking dirty to a drug dealer, and then the sexy time started. It was God awful. I'm convinced Deb has to die, I don't think it will happen but it's the only way to salvage this show.

Season 8 satisfies when it comes to the biggest part. It's no secret that the major reason to watch Dexter is for the characters of Dexter Morgan and his sister Debra, and their tumultuous relationship. The award-winning work by Michael C. Hall and the should-have-won-an-award-by-now performances from Jennifer Carpenter are what have driven the show for so long.

Harry told Evilyn(?) about what Dexter is to try and get help with what to do about it which is how she knows about him (hence the little clue about how she's been doing this sort of stuff since most of you were in grade school) and those pictures were pictures he drew when he was a kid.

I was very pleased with the first episode.

I thought the first episode was really intriguing.. well done. Not sure it will hold up, but they have me more interested then I have been for seasons just based off the first episode.

My prediction...

She helped Harry create (or created it herself and told Harry) the code. Dexter was her self-made perfect killer. She's always known about Dexter. The pictures were obviously done by Dexter as a kid, his name was on them.

Agreed. This was the best Dexter episode in years.

I was going to watch anyway, because I've come this far, but now i'm genuinely intrigued with where it goes.
