I think we're doing something new in this final season narratively, so we have that combination of fear and giddiness. The fear is, oh, what if people don't like it, what if the audience doesn't like what we're doing? The giddiness is, like, we always feel like we have to be bold with our show and if it works, and if people like it as much as we do, we feel like the final season will be a success. When there's a draw though, we stand by our decisions. We're not playing it safe in the final season.
just finished up Season 4, good shit, bad send off for Michael though, blow him up, seriously?
high hopes for Season 5, island moved, 5 people and a baby make it back to land, where they arent trying about to get killed, lol. but are they gonna focus on the people who made it off the island? seems like with all the flashforwards, it would lead up to a non Lost story line. One thing that kind of freaked me out was the ageless guy, guess it would only lead up to being a mayor of Gotham.
so the whole season felt like it was really just a huge rescue mission, make sure Ben stays alive, and getting the Oceanic 6 off the island. upset Kevin Durand got killed off, always liked him, though kinda funny, he would end up being with Matthew Fox in Smokin Aces and Charlie in Wolverine
also just read the actor who plays Ben was in Saw, i wonder why he looked familiar
The producers at LOST amde this and said it gives clues at what will happen in season 6. Im stumped.
BTW, season 3 finale was the best twist ever recorded on film.
Saw on one of the LOST blogs that Damon told someone one of the things was the ankh that's being held by Hurley. He wouldn't say what the 2nd clue was.
Any idea what the Ankh means and why Hurley is holding it, who knows.

I believe the Ankh represents "eternal life". He holds everyones life in his hands, maybe? In any case, Hurley is important in how LOST ends, apparently.
Rewatching season 5...I know we saw Ben gas his own father earlier on but the whole sequence of him killing Locke, dude is a major sociopath.
That makes it even more interesting that he's manipulated by Fake Locke at the end.
On one board, I saw a question asked...with Alana and her group along with Alpert and his folk with Sun and the Ajira people....how does Fake Locke make it out of the statue alive?
