#1 I agree most people here have a warped sense of what is over or underrated, i will also say a movie that most people don't know or haven't seen but is fantastic could constitue being underrated

#2 your dislike of Donnie Darko is just wrong and twisted.

Whaaaat? Deja Vu was shitty, absolutely. But Out of Time was a good movie IMO.

But see, that's more in the spirit of underrated. Most people aren't terribly fond of either movie but I he likes Out of Time, making it underrated in his opinion.

Donnie Darko was "meh" to me. Not great, not bad.

IMO it has too many fans of the movie that think that just because they like it that they are somehow inherently smarter.
