JCVD + John Woo, seriously, can it get any better?

This doesn't technically count for 90's because it was released in 89, but it's still a classic:

And last but definitely not least, how could we forget:

Rocketeer is gay as shit. I just watched Executive Decision last week and Segal dies too son. Breakdown is an underrated Kurt Russel flick. The Ghost and The Darkness is long but a god damn good movie.

Long Kiss Goodnight is a solid 90s action flick. Geena Davis as an amnesiac assassin and Samuel L Jackson

Ghost in the Darkness is by far one of my fav movies.

I first found out about the movie after visiting the Chicago Field Musuem and see the display there.

                  10. Nick of Time -Johnny Depp's daughter is kidnapped. To get her back he has to kill the governor of California in the next 90 minutes. Shot in real time, very intriguing but I more of a suspense thriller than an action flick.
                  9. Dick Tracy - Warren Beatty stars as Dick Tracy, very fun - haven't seen it in forever, though.
                  8. The Ghost and The Darkness
                  7. The Long Kiss Goodnight - see Trojan's post.
                  6. Sudden Death/Time Cop - Jean Claude Van Damme. I only like 3 of his movies & Time Cop is one of them.
                  5. Last Man Standing
                  4. Breakdown
                  3. Executive Decision - Kurt Russell and Halle Berry try to stop terrorists from hijacking a plane. Again, far more thriller than action. Sorta funny story in my spoiler below.
                  2. The Rocketeer
                  1. Sneakers

                  LMAO, mostly because:

My sis-in-law & her husband are such huge, gigantic Segal fans, they went to see this movie solely based on the fact that he is in it. When his character died, they got up & left the theater.

                  I'd add:

And so far no mention of the Nubian Action Hero of the 90s, one Wesley Snipes?

I haven't seen most of these movies, since they made my top 10 worst films of that year..

Brings back....... well, some really shitty memories.

The Jackal is a lesser-known classic... you gotta see this one. Its a badass nineties remake of The Day of the Jackal from 73 with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere. Its got JK Simmons, Jack Black and Sidney Poitier too.

Not an "action" movie really but an excellent film nonetheless

                          obviously

''Roadhouse'' was the worst movie mentioned up until ''The Jackal.''

West, you actually like that steaming pile of horse fuck?

''Roadhouse,'' wasn't that released in '89? I could be mistaken, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
