Live.
Live has been accused by many music experts as being a cheap, shitty rip off of ''U2.'' Now, after listening to the music, I really didn't notice it. Of course, if U2 ever decides to suck, I'll probably be able to recognize it a little better.
Postives: Absolutely nothing.

Depends.
There's two types of music fans.
There's people who listen to shitty music, because they honestly think the artists are talented. This is the clueless music fan.
Then there's people who listen to shitty music, but can tell the difference between actual good music and bad music.
Because honestly, who isn't guilty of having bad music in their collection? I'm listening to REO Speedwagon right now - are they good? lmao, gtfo. You can either tell the difference or you can't - either way, who cares? It's your life, enjoy it.
That ugly bastard Kevin Cronin makes cougar panties wet with the thought of their loins being touched by his member.
Saw those old fucks in concert in Atlantic City one year and every cougar in the building was wanting to bang the bejeebus out of anything that moved and had a phallic like object on their body.
If you put Hi Infidelity on at the mall, be prepared for a rise in sexual misconduct by women with underage boys, which is awesome.Last edited by LiquidLarry2GhostWF; 02-15-2010, 02:37 PM.Comment

But I'd easily put those guys in the top 5.
Since this is an all-time thing though, I can see why they wouldn't be included. But if it were today's worst bands? Teeny-bopper "rock" bands like 3OH!3, etc. would easily fill out the list.Comment

I wasn't even aware that Owl City became an actual band, so my bad.
I always thought Adam Young was a one-man show who thought of half his shitty ''music'' while living in his parents basement (Bob Kuzzy.) So, I don't give him enough credit, even if they're an actual band now, to put his sorry ass on any list. Plus, no way in hell do I listen to a full album of that shit.
Edit: Oh, and I've never heard of 3OH!3.Last edited by Nukleopatra; 02-15-2010, 08:07 PM.Comment

I actually removed them from the list, for obvious reasons. I'll save them for ''worst singers.''
Although, ''Baltimora'' is guilty of the same shit.Last edited by Nukleopatra; 02-15-2010, 10:13 PM.Comment

Needs more Melvins.
Fuck the Melvins.
Neil Finn wasn't even relevant enough to consider adding here. If I ever decide to make a list for the top 20 most irrelevant 80's musicians of all-time, I may find a spot for him there.
But, hell, New Zealand sure loved the guy, so I guess he has that to fall back on.
Although Split Enz are the bees knees.Last edited by citizenerased; 02-16-2010, 05:58 AM.Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your ChairComment

Nice read, Nuk.. although Nickelback should be higher on the list in my opinion, haha. So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Huge Journey fan, can't complain about Asia since they have one of most underrated guitar players of all time Steve Howe. other than that not too badComment

I disagree with several of the spots here.
My biggest one is Nickelback. Everyone judges them(probably rightly so) from their newer stuff but there was a time that they actually released some credible albums that were actually bordering on great. Curb, State, Silver Side Up all come to mind. But Silver Side Up had the song that began their downfall. With "How You Remind Me" came some radio success and since then its like they try to write the music that climbs the charts and mindlessly people follow. I was one who actually waste the money on their garbage they spew out now, but they occasionally have glimpses of their old stuff that makes the money spent justifiable. I could agree with them being on here if they had nothing prior to The Long Road but they do and it was great music and I can't bear to put that band on there for that.
Also Creed and 3 Doors Down are very similar in that. Albeit their success came much quicker and ended up causing them to have much less. But with Creed, I prefer their music on Human Clay and prior and some of the new music they have recently released has been pretty good as well. In between still flashes. 3 Doors Down, I can see holding a spot here but not number 2. There one cd that had much respect from me was their first which was recorded before they were even on a record label.
Others such as Journey and Live I disagree with but I'm not gonna argue as that is a matter of taste. But with those, its like one acts like they put their "recorded for radio" shit out from day one and people forget or don't look for their good stuff, just purely looking for what is popular, overplayed, etc.
so I guess let the groans fly....
Nickelback = the worst.Comment
