I only saw part of Hott Fuzz, and it was hilarious. I'm definately gonna watch the whole thing now that it has the Nuk Seal of Approval though.

I have some fairly bad shit in my collection.

I actually hide my special edition ''Troll 2'' DVD whenever I have company.

Personally, I thought Shaun of the Dead was ok and Hot Fuzz was average as well. Both were rather slow and the comedy was too dry and straight for me. That and I don't think I like those British pricks all that much when it comes to comedy.

I'm definitely more of a Super Troopers kind of guy.

Obviously not one of the best comedies ever, but Waiting was on comedy central a little bit ago, which I definitely recommend to everyone that hasn't seen it.

Others I'm surprised that haven't been mentioned:

            Austin Powers
            King Pin
            Van Wilder
            There's Something About Mary
            Old School
Swingers (i know it's cult classic, Nuk, fuck off)

              Kingpin is fucking hilarious.

edit: and if Tara Reid wasn't in Van Wilder, it'd be much better

Agreed. I watched it with my girlfriend and her family, who had never seen it, a couple months ago and almost forgot how funny (and crude) it was.

edit - yeah but then we'd never get to laugh about how quickly Tara Reid seemed to fall off the face of the earth.

Great mentions for sure. I mentioned Old School FWIW. The others you mentioned are just nowhere on par with the best of this decade IMO.

Fun factL My aunt worked on Kingpin, she got me an autographed ball from Roger Clemens.

                      Would have been way cooler.

Old School is without a doubt my #1. It is the one comedy that I could watch 1000 times and it wouldn't get old. So many classic jokes.. what a cast to boot.

Definatly can't disagree with Office Space in the original post.

Although Zoolander is a classic IMO... and this coming from a person who would cry tears of joy at the news of Ben Stiller's death.
