Not sure what to think of Pan Am after the pilot, this sums it up pretty well...

If you’re aching for a glittery presentation of 1960s, Pan Am hits the spot. The generous production design, costumes and music are delightful, and they make for a much lighter atmosphere than The Playboy Club. As for the show itself, it seems like a tame version of Grey’s Anatomy, minus the life-and-death drama (though that could easily be coming). While a lack of focus hampers the first episode, those looking for a historical take on ABC’s soap opera formula will be entertained.

Pan Am isn’t hard-hitting social commentary but it’s enjoyable enough. Provided the show can find a more concentrated story (and get people to care about at least some of the leads), it may find a niche despite the bumpy landing.

I know it's redundant and a bit dickish, but I love not paying for shit. I just got Tech N9ne's discography, as well as most of Royce da 5'9"'s shit, most of 50's stuff, working on Joe Budden and Freddie Gibbs... I really don't even know why. It's just like "Well, I've still got room on my computer, let's stuff it with music."

I mean, 50 Cent of all people...

                  A Peter Nash story...

From the PE/3rd Bass European Tour: Flav knocked on our hotel room doors at like 7 a.m. in Glasgow, Scotland, and wanted me and Serch to go feed some pigeons with him. Not kidding. We ended up feeding pigeons, took 20 kids to Mickey D's for breakfast(on Flav), and, finally, went to a magic store where Flav bought platform shoes, fake shit, and a stockpile of fake blood capsules. He's got that stuff in the bag. By the time we got to Germany the next day Flav put the fake blood to use: he dropped to the floor in an airport, fake convulsions and spat up mad blood. He stood up and pointed and laughed at me and Serch saying "Yeah Boooooyee...its the fake blood from the magic store, G!"

I'm not trying to be ignorant, but prior to The Bourne Identity what was the last intelligent, espionage, 1 main character-driven, thriller type of movie to be released?

There have been a ridiculous amount of movies since then that I can't help but immediately compare to the Bourne films upon seeing them, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a predecessor in the past couple decades to compare Bourne to off the top of my head. What am I not thinking of?

                        Possibly North by Northwest?

You probably wont find any exact pre-Bourne examples because of how advanced it is. But if you wanna level the playing field and include movies that were advanced for their time and included the same themes, there's some out there.

edit-nevermind, just noticed you said "last".

I like this show Awkward but I feel guilty watching it because it basically replaced RJ Berger.

The Thundercats reboot on Cartoon Network is some of the best stuff going right now.

I swear the non directors cut version of Blade Runner is impossible to find online. I wanna watch the original!
