Been asked a lot about my SOA appearance. All I can say is that he Internet media machine is a pretty amazing and powerful thing! What started out as a simple walk on has snowballed into the most asked about thing I have done in a long time, which is a testament to how great the show is and the vastness of it’s audience. Truth is that if you blink, you will likely miss me. The amount of press there has been certainly out weighs the nature of my part! However, my time spent on the Sons set was pretty amazing. The crew, the cast, directors and make-up artists all were super friendly and fun to work with. What was particularly special about the whole thing was the fact that Jane’s recorded a cover for the show. I am not sure when that is to air, but it was fun to take a break from the tour and head into the studio for a day and crank out a song. An interesting side note is that all of this came about via Twitter. Creator Kurt Sutter happened to tweet me one day and I happened to see it. He simply said, “Hey, you wanna do some stuff?” “Sure!” and that was that. It’s pretty amazing that collaborations and work opportunities can come about through social networking. It almost makes weeding through the negativity worth while!
