I doubt it. I think Jimmy's mom knows exactly what she is doing. She seems like one of the smarter and more powerful female characters in the show and I think she has a plan regarding Lucky and Jimmy's "wife". Whether it works out or backfires on her is the question. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that it backfires on her.

Go away. The reason I don't watch and most people don't watch "Next week" promos is because we don't want to know what happens. I know a hell of a lot of people that are like that who get annoyed with people like you that care more about "next week" all the time and ruin it for others.

I don't care if you tell what's happened, because it's already been released. I just like being surprised and not having any idea what to expect. Also why I don't read the backs of books before I read them.

I can see that, I'm one of those guys who is always looking forward to watching the scenes.

I don't really care about minor spoilers being revealed, I just want to speculate on the direction of certain plot points. It's not really like I'm ever going to be completely surprised anyway, if you follow enough drama you realize that they all adhere to the same general structure. I don't feel you will get anything ruined in the 30 seconds of clips that get tacked on at the end.

But the back of books is a whole other story, I made that mistake once and will never do it again. A novel I was reading revealed that the main character grows up motherless, when the mother is in the first 200 pages of the book. I was about 50 pages away and had no idea she was going to leave.

Also along those lines, apparently the DVD version of "Friends of Eddie Coyle" has a plot summary on the back which tells everything that happens. So if you get the Centurion DVD copy of that movie, do not read the back or the liner notes before watching unless you want the ending to be spoiled.

My dad made all of these points tonight as we watched.

He called the girl killing herself because she's a whore and her face is fucked, and she figured out Jimmy didn't love her so she was pretty much screwed.

He called Nucky and Ms. Schroeder, even though I thought he was gonna bitch her out.

Pretty good episode, expected a lot more though.

i knew nucky and margaret were gonna hook up. shes a bitch though for narcing on people for having booze.

i read the article tv guide did on the show and they gave some hints as to whats going to happen soon .. slight spoilers but nothing crazy

 

- something is going to happen to "someone close to jimmy" that makes jimmy come back to atlantic city. im not sure if it was referring to what happened with his girl in chicago, i figure its something with his son, mom, or his baby momma

- next weeks episode will end with something "shocking" going down between margaret and van alden

she did it to get his attention, she saw how bold Nucky's current GF is and knew that a bold move was the only way to grab his attention.

Couple of thoughts:

Didn't Jimmys mother explain how when he was a little boy she left him with friends so she could go out and have fun and explore the world or whatever? Maybe she regrets that and that is why she told Angela to go off. Then she could raise her grandson, something she missed out on with Jimmy.

I love the character of Al Capone.

I don't know if I like the whole Nucky and Margaret love connection thing. We will see how that works out.

I know there was some sexual tension between Nucky and Margaret the whole series so far but I'm wondering if this is gonna be Nucky 'tricking' Margaret into thinking they have something just to shut her up. Later I think we will definitely see him breaking her heart somehow.
