Ya it would really make a lot of sense. Also I got that feeling when Nuckys brother said something like, "sometimes I wounder if you would do the same for me." This was the scene where all three are in Nuckys office and they tell jimmy he has to leave.

This show is fucking phenomenal. I love all the references to "normal" things today -- blowjobs, motherfucker, cocaine, etc.

This is already my favorite show on TV at the moment and it just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see Jimmy in Chicago and what Lucky is going to do about him not being in AC anymore. Michael Shannon's character (Van Alden) is a fucking creep, but those are the types of characters he plays best. I want to see more into his obsession with Kelly Macdonald's character.

Oh, and Al Capone might be my favorite character on the show so far, but that's hard to say because there are so many brilliant characters.

Remember how Nucky was telling Jimmy that story about the past. Didn't he say Jimmy was ontop of his dads shoulder when he turned around to Nucky and asked what it took to be a president.
Nucky and Jimmy's dad were probably real good friends which would explain why Nucky treats him different. You're not gonna be so quick to kill your dead friends son especially if you kinda raised him.

I suppose technically if they had an affair then Jimmy could be Nucky's but if that's the case then the moms word would be just as good as the girls on The Maury Show.

Have you guys never watched a TV show or movie before? Just because someone has a "father" doesn't mean that's their real dad. Nucky easily could have been fucking around with Jillian behind her man's back.

Kinda shocked yesterday when I realized there has only been 3 episodes, seems like alot has happened already.

sunday nights show was great. not alot by way of violence or anything. just straight forward moving of the overall story, but very well done.

if this show keeps up with the al capone aspect and includes more lucky luciano, then it will continue to be great.

honestly, the nucky stuff isnt all that intriguing to me. Steve Buschemi just isnt believable in that role

Haven't caught the full episode yet, just flipped it on at the very end because I needed something to fall asleep to.

Only part I saw was Lucky flirting with some chick, and then she grabs his johnson and starts kissing him...tells him to meet her back there after the show.

Since I was half asleep and missed the events leading up to that scene, I gotta wonder, was that Jimmy's mah dukes? If so, that's fucking greasy.

Back in episode three when Jimmy is talking to his mom backstage she brings up Jimmys "Dad" and he gets pissed off and says, "I don't have a dad."

Anybody else think at the end of the Opening Intro and Theme when the water and sand come off his shoes and their still freshly polished is probably the most amazingly signifying things. I absolutely love it.

 

Anyone else think the love interest between Lucky and Jimmy's mom is kinda dumb. I mean its gonna be interesting to see what happens but I think it's a weird drift off. I mean classic Martin Scorsese and Terrence Winter stylistic writing would be to Kill off Lucky or Jimmy in a jealous rage or self defensive rage. Thing is Lucky Luciano is a real life person, so he wont die and Jimmy is the main character beside Nucky Thompson so he has to at least survive till later seasons. So this is gonna be wierd.
