Man I tell yah what that newest episode tweeked me. I mean that scene where the girl offed herself made me shudder. I knew it was coming too, fuck that was aggravating just waiting for the gunshot. I loved that ending song it's called "Carrickfergus" but I dont know who sings that version. The closest version was by The Dubliners.

i didnt expect that at all. i didnt have any idea where they were going with that story.

this last episode was pretty good. the entire season has been solid...nothing that gave me a wow factor, but just real good writing and acting, plus the time frame seems accurately represented

Yesterday's episode was excellent. The whole scene where they were meeting with the rival gang was great. Also, nice to see Jimmy finally call Capone on his BS about being in the Lost Battalion.

i gave the show another shot, got caught up. excruciatingly slow sometimes. but necessary. The Wire didnt really take off till Wallace was killed, and i think everyone knew this would get a second season at least, so i guess im ok with it. half-face guy is fucking awesome, and overall im really happy about what they are doing with Jimmy. i could do without schroeder though, shes kind of annoying. looking forward to seeing where the Eye Talian plot goes.

this is what impresses me the most. That even with these slow times of the show it manages to keep me totally interested while they are taking place
