geez god forbid someone have an opinion.

YOU HAVE TO THINK THE SAME AS ALL OF US OR YOU ARE WRONG. HOW DARE YOU DIFFER IN YOUR OPINION.

i also think the whole harrow scene was played out a bit too long (though i did thoroughly enjoy the rest of the episode). hes an emo whiny fuck. thats been understood the second since he was introduced into the show. how about he does something about besides trying to kill himself. he needs to strap on his mr. potato head face and do somethin besides whining and crying. maybe find a broad with half a face as well.

they've also been slacking on the van alden storyline. best damn character in the show and its the second episode he hasnt been in at all. damn shame

LOL. No point in even discussing characterization with you if that's how you describe Richard Harrow. The point you dopes are missing is that even if we already know something about a character, that doesn't mean that there isn't progression. So we know he's depressed. If only there were only one version of depression for everyone and we would not need to explore further layers, or provide more context, of his depression. Nope, let's keep the characters static so we don't bore the audience with stuff they already know.

My biggest gripe with Maynard's assessment is not his issues with the Harrow stuff, it's his assessment that he found the episode 'dull'. That episode was not only crammed with action, but was also the turning point episode of the season that sets up the build for the climax.

Like somebody else said, if you didn't like that episode, you might as well watch Sunday Night Football next week. This show won't do it for you.

Image is reversed thanks to photobooth. It's really the left side of the face.

i found the episode as a whole very good. the show has picked up tremendously since the slow first two episodes.

And after the excitement of making it I realized I may have a hard time drinking this weekend with this thing on.

it did suck. i still feel that way today. every HBO show has a terrible season. Sopranos was S3. Curbs was S6, Six Feet Under was S3

i am not saying S2 is bad by any means. I been enjoying everything this season. I just felt that this past episode was dull and predictable

This mfer has clearly never watched The Wire. Season 3 of The Wire is the standard by which I judge all entertainment.
actually i never did see that show. I started watching S1 but never had the time to get into it

Of all the Sopranos seasons to pick on, you pick on S3. Odd.

I didn't get it either, i mean 5 and 6 i can see, but I don't get it with 3, the show was fully in stride at that point
