i just started on season 3. by the time i get around to watching the rest i will not remember what i read in this thread. i am pissed i didnt watch this show sooner.

it's cool, I wasnt on The Wire until it's final season either. Better late than never, as even though season 5 wasnt all that great, it was still really cool being a part of the "DID YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?" conversations every week while they wrapped up the storyline.

planned endings are always the best, gotta love it when a show knows its going out and gets to tie up all the loose ends...

Oh trust me...it gets even better...and better...and better...progressively over the 4 seasons unlike alot of shows where one was better than 3 or something like that.

Yeah, this is probably the first show I've watched in which each season is better than the last.

The one thing I really like it about it is how they try to really develop the characters already in place. They aren't bringing in that many new people which a lot of shows do because they've run out of ideas for the original characters.

The great thing is this show doesn't just show the "transformation" of Walt, but also Jesse and in Season 4 both characters demonstrate how far they've come since Season 1. Hell I remember after the first 2-3 episodes, for the most part Jesse annoyed the shit out of me...now he's one of my favorites and one helluva actor too.

As long as her mouth is taped shut.

But yes, Skyler was one of the characters I hoped got killed off just for the annoying factor (kinda like Rita in Dexter) but I think in the end it's best that she's stayed alive so far. I still believe that Walt and possibly his family (at least a couple, maybe Skyler and Hank) are going to die by the end of this show and Jesse is going to be the last man standing...sort to speak.
