Yeah. They thought if they had Walter go all of the way with his turn that early that the audience would lose sympathy with Walt, which has been vital to the series being so good.

From what V-Gill has said in interviews, Walt does something this season that is truly unforgivable. Not sure what that could be, obviously killing one of the other principle characters is what we suspect, but yeah they are definitely gonna solidify his evil villain status in the next few weeks. For those last stragglers who were still able to sympathize with Walt, they're gonna hammer it home. GON BE GUD

Sucks that it appears that Jesse doesn't have anyone looking after him and his paranoia may have warranted his death ticket.

It was nice seeing Marie go with the flow instead of being the super annoying bitch she usually is.

It was also cool seeing Skyler not fall for Walt's bullshit. I wonder if he'll keep lying to her since it doesn't seem she's falling for it

Everybody thought last episode he was punching in his ticket to Belize but now it's looking like it's really happening...unless the hit is for Hank....after all, to Walt's knowledge Hank hasn't spilled to the beans to any DEA agent...

I think it was misdirection so that we would assume the hit was on Jesse. Walt was very serious when he spoke to Saul that nobody ever say anything about killing Jesse again. Could be just what it seemed though...either way I don't see how Jesse sees the final credits in 4 weeks.
