I agree with you. They aren't even based in New Mexico. I find it hard to believe that in the 56 minutes of air time we have left, Walt is going to go from NH to wherever Eliot and Gretchen are, back to New Mexico, while still tying up all the loose ends.

I read it as Walt realizing he's already been played for a chump once. He's not going to let anyone play down his impact on the meth business the way they did his impact on Grey Matter

Disagree with you on this. He is very jealous of their success and resents the fact he sold out early to raise a family.

thats a valid point. but he wanted to provide for them 2 shows before we even knew who these 2 were. If anything i think he was more motivated by there offer of charity and it hurting his pride.

But i still think he was motivated by his own desire to provide after he was gone to make sure his family didnt need anyones hand outs. He made the choice to sell early and he may regret that choice, but i dont think their success is his motivation to provide

Sure, he started out mainly wanting to provide for his family. Its clear in the 1st half of season 5 and even before then, that the success of Grey Matter definitely had a major impact on why he continued cooking.

As stated in the scene above, he checks their stock everyday and the company is worth 2.16 billion. The key word is "potential". A huge part of all of this is because Walt regrets missing out on the potential success that he could have had with Grey Matter.

I'm pretty sure they are all in New Mexico. Gretchen was able to drive to the White's house at the drop of the hat to meet with Skylar so they have to be near enough for Walt to carry out a scorched earth policy.

I agree but I think we should still do something. SPOILERBAX SPECIAL. I'll buy the winner a BREAKING BAD T-Shirt of their choosing.

                Cool?

                  Potential spoilers

Sorry if this theory has been posted before, but here I go.

I feel that a part of the ending may have been out in the scene that people feel was either funny, ridiculous, stupid or a waste of time. I'm referring to the scene where Badger tells Skinny Pete, his Star Trek script. Here it is again

                  Spock is Walt
                  Kirk isJesse
                  Chekov is Jack
                  Scotty is Todd
                  Uhura is Lydia

kirk cant take it anymore, he yokes (jesse pukes or dies or something) checkov and spock are left (walter and jack). scott (todd) is helping cherkov win, until uhura (lydia) comes in and scott starts sweating (todd likes/loves Lydia). cherkov spits out blood (gets blown to bits) cause of scott and uhura (Todd and Lydia)

This may be a coincidence, but it seems to make too much sense. And name a better place for Vince Gilligan to put the ending right in front of your face. And the best part is Jesse gets up and leaves the room as he says "Kirk can't take it anymore". And Jesse leaves the house and the scene ends when Badger says "your leaving at the best part"..........
I love this...especially since its "blue"berry and it ends up frozen.

Final scene is Lydia sipping her tea ?
Best reason to have a license.

If Lydia is the final shot of this series I'll be super disappointed

From meth slinging, to cooking montages, to mass killings, Breaking Bad simply would not be Breaking Bad without Dave Porter and Thomas Golubić's musical touch. Take a look at, and listen to, these 30 awesome reasons why.
