I totally get the squared jaw and parted hair/glasses, however he's like 43 years old! We're ATLEAST trying to make a trilogy son! Maybe we can get four out this.
It takes at the very least two years to make a decent sequal, by 2014 John Hamm will be 45; which will set up a 47 year old supes for "The Death of Superman" in 2016.
That just can't work... And like I said earlier, how will they explain the four o'clock shadow on John Hamm?!?!
*Thank you, to the mods that be.*

He's 39, and if they can get Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart to look 35 in X-Men, they can take 10 years off the face of a 40 year old.
And isn't this supposed to be a grittier, realer Superman? None of this not a hair out place, faggot looking mother fucker shit like they served up in Superman Returns. Nolan only deals with actors, not preety boys. Hence the reason we got Heath Ledger as the Joker, not someone like Steve Carrell who the studio probably wanted.Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your ChairComment

Zack Snyder (Dawn of The Dead, 300, Watchmen) has been confirmed as the new director for the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel film.
I am very excited about this. Snyder rejected the offer when he was asked to do Superman Returns. He didn’t have a clear vision for how he would handle it. I mean, Superman is the biggest and baddest superhero ever. Now that some time has passed and he has seen what David Goyer (writer) and Jonathan Nolan (writer) have come up with as far as a script, he is comfortable taking on such a huge project.
Snyder spoke with Deadline and had this to say:
“I’ve been a big fan of the character for a long time, he’s definitely the king of all superheroes, he’s the one. It’s early yet, but I can tell you that what David [Goyer] and Chris [Nolan] have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern. I’ve always felt he was kind of awesome. I’ll finish ‘Sucker Punch’ and get right at it.”
Snyder has been a part of some pretty great films, artistically speaking. 300 was a very unique and visualy pleasing film. So was Watchmen. They both had a fresh look to them that hadn’t been seen much in films before.
It will be fun and interesting to see what Snyder means when he says he wants to make Superman feel more modern. New costume perhaps?I LOVE VSNComment

Villain and Director have been announced!
From the Director that brought you one of the best Superhero flicks of all time...
And the producer/writer that brought you...
Comes...
Projected Release: December 2012
Producer: Christopher Nolan
Writer: David Goyer
Director: Zack Snyder
Villain: General Zod
Can't wait! This movie is going OWN Batman 3!
My main gripe with the past theatrical versions of Supes is the Lois Lane character. She is never worthy as far as looks goes. Everyone knows Lois needs to be OUT of this world HOT!Comment
