I downloaded all the seasons and have been watching the show from start to finish. I just watched the last episode tonight, so I figured this thread could use a bump. What a phenomenal show. Some of the best writing and character development I have ever seen on a show, and Kyle Chandler did a hell of a job with Coach Taylor. It was sad to see it end, with Coach going to Philly, but it was still a great finale. So many great moments in the show. The ticker tape parade at the end of Season 1 is probably my favorite scene throughout the entire season. There were several moments throughout this show that I was actually in tears. I could go on for days talking about this show, but I am too tired right now to put all of my thoughts into words. Maybe some other time...
My gf has been playing through all the seasons when she goes to sleep. I stay and watch a few minutes at a time and it's remarkable how I still get choked up during certain scenes.
When Street sold his first car after Buddy gave him a pep talk, or when Smash finally got the scholarship offer from Texas A&M, or anything that happens to Saracen ever ... I get a little misty ...
Peter Berg is trying to make another FNL film, although this one would use the same characters/actors from the TV series and begin where it the show ended.
Awesome. Loved this show. Currently early in season 3 of my Buffy series re-watch. Another great show.
This may be my favorite TV series of all time. I'm not sure how I missed this show while it was on network TV, but I started watching for the first time from the beginning back in February and just finished the finale this morning. I think I may go in to a mild depression now that the show is over with...lol
Somehow Riggins and Landry got stuck on the aircraft carrier that must defend the world from alien invasion in the hit movie "Battleship" ... Those boys are a long way from Dillon.
A couple thoughts on the finale since it's still fresh in my mind. I personally thought it was one of the best final episodes for any ending to a television series. There were a couple things that bugged me though. First, how could they not even mention Smash Williams? Even if it wasn't in the "budget" to bring him back, show a newspaper clip, highlight or something. Smash was such a huge past of the first few seasons and was personally one of my favorite characters. Second, Luke going in to the Army rubbed me the wrong way. On the show Luke was a standout player on a state championship team in Texas, and he couldn't even get an offer to a decent football school? Luke loved football and that was his way out of Dillon, not going in to the Army.

I never finished them all for this exact reason I have all the seasons on my PS3. Once I finish rewatching the Sopranos (on season 3) I will watch this to its conclusion.
