Are any of you using HBO Now (the other app on Apple TV)..I noticed a lot of framerate drop and slowdown. I always wait until at least 2 hours after airing regardless of the app.Best reason to have a license.

Don't know anyone using Now, but it is literally the exact same problem for me and my cousin on Go. Lady and I tried to watch The Rock at 3PM on a Wednesday and still had issues. My cousin has had less issues at weird times, but still basically has resigned herself to watching GoT on Monday or Tuesday.Comment

Crap...Judge Judys council is getting decimated. She's far too complacent for someone trying to become Queen. She was on some endless tear building armies and freeing slaves now she's bogged down in stupid mistakes and backlash. I assume at the pace this season is going Tyrion and her won't see each other till the last episode.
Not complaining but this televised season is quickly adding up to me jumping and reading the books because their simply don't seem to be enough episodes left for all these introduced storylines.
Anyways I think Ringworm and OldMan Ackerman are both dead. Maybe worm survives but I agree it's kinda odd to have him saved from a slit throat. However we left with Tywin getting pierced and maaaybe surviving to having his funeral in the season previews. So don't think he survives. But friendzone is still around. If he ,Varys and Tyrion actually make it to her side now you've got something.Best reason to have a license.

I'm wondering how much longer Cersei can abuse her power as Queen Mother before her son throws her in a tower. I would normally say that the lady sleeping with the king has the upper hand but Cersei would sleep with her sonephew in a heart beat if it benefitted her interests.Comment

As for "OldMan Ackerman" haha....this interview certainly makes him seem like he's definitely gone. I thought that they showed that bit last week with Tyrion commenting/making eye contact with the Red Priest as kind of a setup to bring someone back to life like Thoros did Dondarion in S3 after the Hound killed him. Especially considering Barry is still alive and playing a rather pivotal role in the books. But this makes him seem deader than dead.
Grey Worm, who knows...but his character is so not interesting to me, so whatever. Overall, I know that the showrunners and GRRM himself had already said it, but now it seems even more obvious that while he claims he gave them notes for the end, they're very different things. The changes at this point are so significant it's changing just gigantic parts of the overall story the books tell (personally, as my first paragraph kind of attests to, I think for the better).Last edited by SethMode; 05-04-2015, 01:40 PM.Comment

This is a ridiculously non eventful season. We are in the same place now as we were in ep1. I've rescinded this season as a wash and hope next year brings something comparable to s3/4.Best reason to have a license.

The fact that Tyrion was on screen less than 5 minutes and his storyline is probably the one most likely to be a catalyst to the events at hand is frustrating to say the least.Comment

Harking back to previous episode I thought it was interesting the way Stannis said Ned Stark was too noble for the rumor (John being his bastard) I guess he knows the truth as well.
At this point Im pondering not watching any more eps until the finale than marathoning.Best reason to have a license.

Stannis just began marching towards the Boltons leading into to a battle for the North. Why would you think Tyrion is the catalyst for the main events this season?Comment

I don't know if it's the fact that it is moving things along faster than the books or what, but I've been really enjoying the hell out of this season. I like that it seems to be back to slowly building things, and I've enjoyed some of the exposition quite a bit.Comment

It seems to be a lock that the Bolton's go down as they are despised by even the people that serve them.Comment

People who have marathoned seem to be enjoying it more. Just got two omg texts from people running through all the episodes thus far. Maybe the lag has something to do with it I'm waiting aaaaaall week just to see Huckleberry Lannister still on a row boat.Best reason to have a license.

I could definitely see that. It's similar to how any time I've watched The Walking Dead as it is broadcast, I've been bored out of my skull and felt like nothing happened, but anything I've marathoned, I've really enjoyed.Comment
