Favorite artist/band: Chrisette Michelle (What a voice this chick has)
Most surprising artist/band: Freddie Gibbs (not really surprising to me because I've been up on Gibbs for years, but everyone else is now starting to recognize how dope he is.)
Most disappointing artist/band: Cassidy (You used to be dope, but you don't have it anymore Cass. Compared to everyone else, your punchlines lack, well, punch. Was hard to listen to him at times.)
Artist/band that grew on you: J. Cole (I really started paying attention to him late. Dude has beats and bars and I now go out of my way to check for his music.)
Artist/band you can't see the hype about: Nicki Minaj (she's terrible to me but I guess when you the only rapper chick out, you win by default. I came up on a different type of rap than most of you younger dudes tho so

Favorite album: Nas & Damian Marley: Distant Relatives
Most surprising album: Joell Ortiz: Free Agent (technically this doesn't drop until next year, but I've been banging this album non-stop. While he may not be for everybody, I've always been a fan of Ortiz.
Most disappointing album: Lloyd Banks Hunger For More (Hit or miss album to me. I expected much better considering how hard Banks came this year on his freestyles. Also having the God awful Tony Yayo on your album gets points deducted.
Favorite song: Too hard to pick one, Kanye & friends "So Appalled"

Most surprising artist/band:
Most disappointing artist/band: Mike Posner. Being in North Carolina they overplay him like crazy since he went to school over here. Man did his CD blow dick.
Artist/band that grew on you: Well not the artist but an actual CD. The new MOTM cd took awhile to grow on me.
Artist/band you can't see the hype about: Nicki Minaj, I cant stand this bitch.

Most disappointing album: Travie McCoy - Lazarus. I was fucking with people in the chatbox the other day telling them I thought this CD was good. This CD was as bad as bad can get.
