I buy blu rays, torrent and netflix cause I don't give a fuck. What kind of blows is I go to the theater so often I never anticipate new release torrents/blu ray releases anymore. If its a sweet movie, i'll just buy it on blu ray. If it's a average to shitty I just torrent it if they dont have it on netflix instant que.

Im really starting to love the TV shows on instant que.

I went to the premiere of this at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2006. Most depressing night of my entire life.

Not only is the movie sad, but the director held a Q&A afterwards with the kids who were molested (and are now in their 30s and 40s). Super emotional.

It looks like Netflix has most of George Carlin's stand up available on Watch Instantly.

Yeah like stated before TONS of great documentaries. Lot's of good shorter National Geographic mini documentaries about the FBI, the Secret Service, and stuff like that.

Most of the stuff I watch is TV. I'm working through 10 seasons of the First 48, as well as a few seasons of Pawn Stars and The Office. It has seasons of Family Guy and South Park on there too.

And they have added so much stuff since I first subscribed. I never imagined I would cancel my DVD plan in favor of the streaming, but here I am.

Just got done watching Two Days in April. Pretty interesting to see all of the behind the scenes stuff. Its weird to not really even remember or know who any of these guys were. The only one I'd ever heard of was Clint Ingram.

sidenote - redbox always has some shitty selections, too. Like 25 direct to dvd movies, 25 movies like face/off and one or two new releases.

It all depends what you are into...I stream Netflix on the Wii and the PS3. last spring break I took the week off with my son and watched the first 5 seasons of Weeds. It's a good way to catch up on shows you may have missed out on. They also have a ton of stuff for kids. My boys love Scooby Doo and there's tons of Scooby movies available to stream.

I do the torrent thing too from time to time but only for new movies (screeners and blu ray rips). I've been with Netflix for about 7 years now...only thing that I don't like is how the movie companies have delayed releases now for the majority of the movies that come out now thus leaving my queue empty (for the most part) and me scouring threads trying to find titles of good movies that I have never heard of.

if you hate the mormon church like i do you'll enjoy getting pissed off while watching

"8: the mormon proposition" shows just how much the mormon church funded to block gay marriage in california, even though they are based out of utah and we have a little thing called separation of church and state. when you find out their grand total and how they lied about it, you'll wanna repeal their tax exempt status for sure.

"kimjongilia" is another good doc, it revolves around people who have escaped north korea and some of the hardship's they endured while there and even when they leave.

"i need that record" documents the fall of indie record stores, great movie that made me for a split second not wanna download music, but then i remembered i shop these stores whenever i travel to a place that has a local music store, so i didn't feel bad man.

"iraq for sale: the war profiteers" is another doc that can easily outrage you if you already believe we shouldn't have been in iraq. even if you thought the war was justifiable, you'll be hard pressed to think the money that's been made over there isn't sickening and a bit shady to boot.

i'll sign off on every doc that palooza posted as well, but i will say that "exit thru the gift shop" will only appeal to a certain group of people, if you don't care for street art or art in general it might be boring to you to listen to that french fuck talk for almost 2 hours, but seeing banksy's and shepard fairey do what they do made it worth it to me.

i also love how some shows update weekly like snl and blue mountain state, also using it on the ps3 is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better once they did the update and made it possible to use without the disc, oh man its night and day difference compared to what it was
