When my brother had a Netflix account he received 2-3 DVDs at a time. He then would burn them and send them back the next day. He's got like 500+ movies right now its unreal.

I do the torrent thing too from time to time but only for new movies (screeners and blu ray rips). I've been with Netflix for about 7 years now...only thing that I don't like is how the movie companies have delayed releases now for the majority of the movies that come out now thus leaving my queue empty (for the most part) and me scouring threads trying to find titles of good movies that I have never heard of.
I don't like that delayed release crap either, but I wish I had your problem with the empty queue. I've had Netflix for over 2 years and my queues just keep growing. I have almost 400 in my movie queue and about 20 seasons worth for TV shows in the other.

What ya got in your queue? I need some sleeper recommendations! I've come across a few sleepers here and there like Eden Lake (or vice versa). I plan to catch up on Dexter but it's hard to do that and keep up with current shows like SVU, V, 187 and Blue Bloods.

I've got about 200 movies in each of my queues, but I also have about 1300 movies rated that I've seen, too.

          Movies upon movies upon movies.

Foreign films and older movies (60s-80s) make up the majority of my movie queue. Here are some movies and shows that I liked, but I haven't seen get much mention. No rhyme or reason to these, just a quick list from the first few pages of the movies I've rated.

            Movies:
-In the Heat of the Night (1967)
            -The Conversation (1974)
            -Blood In, Blood Out (1993)
            -Elite Squad (2007, foreign)
            -Black Dynamite (2009)
            -Following (1999)
            -Le Samourai (1967, foreign)
            -Amadeus (1984)

            TV Shows:
            -Feaks and Geeks
            -Undeclared
            -Oz
            -Damages
            -Spaced

            Documentaries:
            -When We Left Earth (2008)
-This Film Is Not Yet Rated (2006)

I started watching Black Dynamite a while ago...gonna have to watch that one when the wife and kids are gone. Too much cursing for the wife.

Is Damages available for streaming? I know they are running it on channel 101 on Direct TV now...might try and catch up on it there.

Only think I liked about the Amadeus is the title song from the soundtrack! LOL

Blood In, Blood Out is a prison/gang movie correct? I think it goes by two different titles. I've seen that before.

I'm not really into foreign films and docs but I will be checking out Restrapo (sp?) soon.

LOL. I'd definitely recommend putting the kids to bed before watching this one.

I don't think they have Damages streaming. Good mystery/thriller crime drama though.

Bound by Honor is the other title for Blood In, Blood Out.

Also, try looking through the recommendations from Netflix. I've found a good amount of worthwhile movies from browsing that section.

I just started my free trial of Netflix, it ain't bad but it didn't quite blow me away either.....some good stuff up their for my kids tho......I recorded the first season of Dora The Explorer for my baby girl for when she gets a lil older......so I guess it can be useful

I watched Paranormal Entity knowing full well it would be a blatant rip off of Paranormal Activity....I still want my 80 minutes back

Gonna check out Restrepo and Two Days in April ... Thanks for the suggestions. I currently have a 1 Blu-Ray at a time plan plus the streaming. I only get around to watching 4 or 5 movies through the mail per month, so I'm thinking of going to streaming only soon.

Dead Like Me is okay. Nothing really special about it, but it's a cool concept so it' worth a watch.

With TV Shows, I definitely watch Friday Nights Lights. I just finished the first season a few days ago. Also Veronica Mars is pretty sweet. I'm 10 episodes into season 1.

Yeah I watched the first 10ish episodes but then the last few were DVD only so I stopped watching. Damaged is a really good show, I've only watched the first season and it's got a pretty crazy storyline.
