I find you'll enjoy Hodgy a decent amount, KNUBB, because he's not (as much) into the serial killer shit that Tyler and Earl are into.

Not really shocked at the split decision between how VSN feels about the album...I've seen a lot of this from every site I've looked at. I, however, do like it a lot, so I'll address some of the criticisms I've seen and other stuff in my review (which should hopefully come this week).

I still need to listen to this album, especially before the new Joey songs drop. I did listen to "She", it was alright, still liked Yonkers and Sandwitches more.

I don't see me being a huge Tyler fan, though I expect to like some of his stuff. I see me being more into Hodgy/Mellowhype.

I was disappointed with it, only because I was overly hyped about it. Had some really good tracks, but quite a few tracks that just bored me. The rating came out to be a 3.18/5 for me.

I've realized lately that I like the concept of Odd Future and the members in it more than I do the actual music they create.

I've found that I am more interested in the uniqueness of Tyler's persona than his music for the most part. The music is also relatively unique but, like Tyler says, he isn't that great of a rapper or anything.

We disagreed on some songs, but definitely a good review. I don't know why, but I just can't get into She that much though almost everyone seems to love it.


I've rated about 12 actual albums so far (doesn't include mixtapes or EPs), and it was like 9th on the list. But I think you're more into Tyler's style than I am so I can see why you enjoyed it more than me.
