AFI loves it and it's #200 on that imdb top movies list. Not the best, but we've all wasted 2 hours on lesser movies. I'd say watch it.
Without revealing too much....
A guy plans "the perfect murder" and hires someone to kill his cheating wife, but it fails and other people die instead. From there it's a battle of wits between the husband, the wife, a friend, and a really smart detective. 98% of the movie takes place inside of one room.
TCM had "Hitchcock Night" a few nights. I've watched most but I still got a few left on my DVR, gonna try and watch them today.Comment

A pair of documentaries about stand-up comedy. Both very similar although different subjects were highlighted.
I Am Comic (more recent of the two) - highlights Ritch Shydner's return to stand-up and different thoughts on the profession/style/work from a variety of comics (Lewis Black, Sarah Silverman, Phyllis Diller, Dana Gould, Roseanne, Louis C.K., Carlos Mencia, Jeff Foxworthy, Bobcat Goldthwait and others in particula). Funny, informative (I particularly enjoyed it when they would talk specifically about how they work on developing their acts, bits…it really is an art form).
Comedian - The two main subjects in this one are Jerry Seinfeld and (at the time, an up-and-comer) Orny Adams. With Seinfeld, it follows his return to stand-up with 100% new material (he decided to scrap all of his old material). B/c of Seinfeld, we get to see interesting/funny discussions with Colin Quinn, Ray Romano, Chris Rock, Bill Cosby and Jay Leno to name a few. As for Adams, he struggles with his career in terms of trying to get the credit he feels he deserves as a polished stand-up and take the next step up the entertainment ladder (he's gone on to do a good enough job today).
I'd recommend both, but if I had to pick one over the other, it'd be 'I Am Comic' since there are a wider range of personalities in that one.

Transformers 3 - definitely better than the last one. The 3D was done pretty well, and I absolutely hate 3D. Your typical Michael Bay movie, so if you like his movies, see it, if you don't, then don't. Also glad Megan Fox isn't in this one, so I don't have to read/hear all of the 16 year olds saying she's the hottest woman on the planet.Comment

It looks like Im the only one who DIDNT like Transformers 3. Well, I liked it, but i was disappointing if that makes sense. I saw it last night, in 3D. It looked amazing. That was cool. Bee is still THEE shit!
But, I just wish Michael Bay would stop trying to make me cry every chance he gets. They made Sam even more spastic than usual. Im watching part 2 right now, and it seems exactly the same.
Its, Transformers Mike, let the good guys and bad guys fight eachother and stay the fuck out of my way. Too much other dumb shot in between IMO.Comment

Even the snobbiest of movie snobs needs to be able to turn their brains off for a few hours a year to watch mindless ridiculousness (I'm not one, just saying to those many critics that are killing this movie)
I'm down for this ridiculousness and will throw in the extra cash to see transforming robots blow up and kill themselves and others in 3D.
Why?
I GOTZ TA DO IT!
There are always a few of these type of ridiculous flicks you just got to see every summer, and as long as they are coherent, I'm down. The first Transformers...coherent. The second one, not so much. Everything I read is that this one is at least coherent and the eye candy is fuckin Willy Wonka's factory.
I'm down, even if I know it'll suck...I'm still down.Comment

Plot is coherent this time around. A lot of things bothered me about it, but whatever. It's looks great. Really long for an action film, though.Comment
