Finally saw In Bruges from start to finish. Easily the blackest comedy I've ever seen, I really enjoyed it.

oh my god, this was just on Starz or something for the past two weeks. We use to watch this like 20 years ago when I was in grade school. God how you thought movies cool back then, nothing like those 80s dancers.

I've watched a dump-truck full of movies in the last two weeks. I'll try and compile a list soon.

Watched Capitalism: A Love Story. I used to hate Michael Moore's documentaries, but Sicko and this one were both quite informative without being overwhelmingly ideological.

Find Me Guilty. Vin Diesel is actually a good actor? Who the fuck knew. This movie is awesome.

Leaves of Grass. Really good movie with Ed Norton as the two main characters. The production is a bit low-quality, but the story was good and Norton is fantastic.

Objectified. Documentary about the design of everyday objects. Really awesome and got me to think about the beautiful simplicity of the tools we use and never think about.

Source Code. Wanna-be Inception with a love story. It wasn't bad, but I couldn't stop thinking that I'd seen something more impressive a year ago.

I watched Pineapple Express for the first time in forever. Still the best comedic action film of the last decade.

Take Me Home Tonight. 80's comedy throwback. Really enjoyed it. Main love interest was super cute.

The Carter. Best documentary ever. Wayne is a fucking nut.

The September Issue. RJ Cutler's documentary about Anna Wintour, Vogue, and the production of the biggest material in the fashion world. Really awesome.

It's Kind of a Funny Story. A movie with the gay son from The United States of Tara (Keir Gilchrist) and Zach Galifianakis about being a teenager and falling in love inside of a mental institution. Pretty fucking enjoyable.

Love and Other Drugs. Romantic drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway's bare breasts with a pharmaceutical twist. It was alright. A bit heavy-handed.

The Wackness. Ah, summer love. Josh Peck was pretty good in this. It was a solid film.

I think that's all of them.

Kill the Irishman - The plot and story is very very good. The movie was actually very entertaining, but it could have been a lot better with a better cast. Ray Stevenson has the look down, and maybe even the acting chops, but the cast was second rate, most of the seemingly very large supporting cast was a bunch of TV actors and it showed. Walken and Val Kilmer are in it, and they do a good enough job, but the whole movie was filled with TV actors outside of Stevenson and the aforementioned two and it took the movie down a few notches.

Would like to see a better effort on the big screen depicting the life of Danny Greene...I feel like a different feel to the film would have done it a great service, too.

Also, I watched Sketches of Frank Gehry. That man is hilarious and awesome. Such a wonderful artist, as well.

And I saw X-Men: First Class in theaters. It was certainly one of the best superhero movies I've seen, but that's not saying much. Good, not great.

I actually really enjoyed Source Code. Not as much as Inception, but for a while there, it was the best movie I saw from 2011.

Tropic Thunder > Pineapple Express, IMO.

I have Love and Other Drugs sitting at the house, along with Biutiful right now. Also have I Am The Devil at the top of my Instant Queue.

Trick r Treat - pretty good, I had high expectations going in so I wasn't blown away, but still very solid.

Rewatched Persona last night. Still not quite sure why its so highly thought of as Bergmans best, I definitely recommend that any self proclaimed film buff watch this and form their own opinion its on Netflix streaming right now.

Not a bad film at all, Brnt has no credibility with me about movies now saying this was the worst film of 2011.

Best part was the scene with this song:
