Ides of March

I'd give it a 6/10...a very generic story than what I expected. Clooney is fine, Hoffman is good and Gosling was great. The second half of the movie when the tension picks up, it sort of just floundered with no real emotional payoff.

I saw We Bought a Zoo with some relatives. The script was absolute shit. Matt Damon did fine, but Scarlett Johansson's character was way too masculine for her. It felt like she was doing her best Hillary Swank impression.


Dial M for Murder was solid. Good but forgettable for a Hitchcock movie.

My crush on Zoe Saldana let me give the movie a shot, it seemed to have potential but was kind of corny in a lot of parts. It was alright.

Ryan Reynolds literally could not act his way out of a wooden box in this one.

Paint-by-numbers "thriller" that'll get all those claustrophobes breathing heavy while the rest look at their watch waiting for the inevitable.

Rent if you "HAVE" to see it, otherwise get something better through Netflix.
