Finally got around to watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. While the special effects in the last sequence haven't held up well and got pretty painful after about 20 minutes, everything else was pretty great.

Chinatown - I was expecting it to be really good and it was better than I thought it'd be. This is the first Polanski movie I've seen. Script was outstanding and 1970-1980 Nicholson is the bee's knees.

Great action movie and a lot of tense scenes and wtf moments. Tom Cruise still has it.

Wow, way to center a movie around an extremely irritating main character. At least the guy in "It's Kind of a Funny Story" was somewhat likable. Good thing this had Emma Roberts to save the day.
