What's the Last Movie You Watched?

The third one managed to slice my throat and take a very hot shit in it..it sucked something fierce.
My rankings go Scream 1, Scream 2, Scream 4 and then in a distant 10th, Scream 3. I would rank Scary Movie higher on the list of Scream movies than that piece of shit.

S4 was over the top in damn near every aspect, but as a huge fan of the Scream series, I still loved it and it was a good way to end them.

Paul-Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Seth Rogen(Voice), Kristen Wiig, Jason Bateman, etc. There were quite a few people in this that I'm sure most of VSN has seen in movies in the past 2-3 years. 2 nerds(Pegg & Frost) go on a road trip to visit UFO spots in the states and end up running into Paul(an alien voiced by Seth Rogen) who was being transferred from containment near area 51. It was kind of funny. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost earned my attention in Shaun of the Dead, so I always expect the duo to always be funny, and they aren't unfunny in Paul, it just wasn't quite the performance I wanted/expected. I had a few laughs, it's a solid rental/netflix watch once it makes it way to those available options.

Holy shit this movie was awesome! Epic score was done by the Chemical Brothers. Must watch movie, VSN.

I found Assault on Precinct 13 for BluRay on sale, and I must say, I've forgotten how much I enjoyed this movie. Very solid all around, and good casting (for the record, I love Gabriel Byrne ever since his performance on End of Days.)

Super 8, pretty good. Entertaining but not without its flaws.

Movie was amazing



Better then Hero, Flying Daggers, Crouching Tigers, and any of those other movies that have made it here in the last 10 years or so. Definitely skipping over the wannabe's and going up there with my favorite Samurai movies.

As if the story wasn't good enough, the choreography of the final fight was amazing. I was afraid the movie would start to slack once it got away from the story and more into the action but the 2nd half managed to be just as good as the 1st.

oh, did I mention how good the final fight was?


Shogun, if you're out there, I'm recommending this one to you.

Nope, this was the Ethan Hawke/Laurence Fishburne remake. I need to watch the original at some point- I just need to find it somewhere.

To me the story isn't as good as SS but the final battle seen is boss and I still really enjoyed it. Check it out and tell me what you think.
