    Lockout - *** stars

-Basically what would happen if Die Hard and Escape From New York/LA fucked, had a baby and then shot that baby into space.

It's an incredibly dumb movie that only gets better with friends, beer and/or a great crowd sitting around you to watch it with.

Also, Guy Pearce is in the running for the "Smuggest Motherfucker Alive" award this year all due to this movie.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqTG480sa4Q"]Go watch it already[/ame]

      American Reunion - **1/2 Stars

-An excuse to get a majority of the original cast that was in American Pie.

-You don't need to see this unless you're a completionist of the series (including the direct-to-DVD movies) or haven't watched anything since American Pie.

21 Jump Street. Much better than I expected. A rock-solid comedy.

good, but it not having a central hero was a bit weird in the beginning as the whole tone of the movie was depressing the fuck out of me

once it starts going toward the revenge cycle it really picked up though
meant no sympathy for lady vengence. the 3rdone sucked imo with the deaf guy,

Sympathy for lady vengeance was def the wierdest of the bunch

the plot developed whimsically in my opinion and when revenge was finally taken it was not as sweet as hatred for the man was not built enough and instead was a blip in the movie and the self loathing of the women towards her sins and her daughter was a bit annoying

I would rank the revenge trilogy old boy, mr vengeance, lady vengeance
              RIP

Looks like a prototype for North by Northwest. Not as good, but I like the characters in this one more.

                    Cabin in the Woods
Great movie although it should not really be considered a horror movie moreso than the thriller it really is

                    The Kid

                    Wow

I'm finally starting to understand the adoration silent films get and Charlie Chaplin is a fantastic actor

I didn't care for Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. I would rank that a distant third with Oldboy at the top, of course.

I have been on a documentary binge lately, I watched Grizzly Man, Knuckle, and Winnebago Man.

I also watched Three...Extremes and some shitty Ghost Adventures-esque horror movie.

I saw The Raid in theaters, needless to say it met my expectations. If someone goes into it knowing what it is and what to expect I don't see how they could be disappointed.
