I actually prefer Palooza's system. Too much subjectivity involved to place a number on a movie.

I will review Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which I just watched, in both formats.

    Score: 6/10
Paloozameter: Entertaining, yet over-stylized and convoluted...and Michelle Monaghan is really fucking hot/10

I was going to go back and give number ratings to all the ones I didn't.. but then I got high.

            Girl with the Dragon Tatoo

            Warning "English Subtitles"

If you don't like reading a movie think twice.

Anyway, if you like thriller suspense give it a try. I say it was 4 out of 5 stars.

Some good sex in there too didn't hurt lol

Batman: Under the Red Hood - Solid flick. A little surprised by the violence. I wasn't expecting a grittier cartoon like I was with Gotham Knight. Bruce Greenwood does a good job with voicing Batman. Some of the bonus material regarding Robin's role in the Batman universe was also interesting.

The Social Network: 9.8/10 - Features easily the best writing and directing of the year. At first glance it may not seem like something down Fincher's alley, but don't be fooled...this movie is dark. The movie is structured along similar lines to the rise of Facebook in the sense that it's speedy. Just as Facebook caught on like wildfire, the cross-cutting between the hearings and the events make for a very quick two hours and truly get the viewer caught up in the whirlwind. Full of themes, mostly dark in matter, Fincher could not have painted a better picture in light of today's world, from the greed to the simple images of college life, everything is spot on and impacting. The writing is quick, extremely intelligent and, at times, very funny. The score, at least in my opinion, was one of the best of 2010 and wasn't just there, like so many scores, but was a driving force towards the creation of the scenes. Eisenberg is terrific, Garfield is at his best and even Timberlake doesn't take away from the story at hand, he did a great job getting in character and soon you forget that it's even Justin Timberlake. In my Top 3 movies of 2010, easily.
